I’m on the fence about this sometimes. On the one hand, women reserve the right to continue on her way and live her life without being constantly harassed. Men shouldn’t feel entitled to a woman’s time, body, or anything else. But on the other hand if a man approaches me on the street respectfully, I’m not going to tell him fuck off or be super nasty to him. I feel like as human beings we should hold a certain level of respect for one another, or at the very least be polite. So yeah, if he approaches you respectfully why not decline respectfully? But then again it’s like if you did respond respectfully and he gets upsets and makes comments like above, then what was the whole point of being respectful if they’re still gonna give you shit for it? Thoughts.

I swear to God. White men cheat, Asian men cheat, Indian men cheat, ALL MEN CHEAT. But posts on Twitter, posts on Facebook, posts on Instagram and anywhere else consists of mainly black men trying to normalize it. “Just accept we gonna cheat.” “We still love you though.” “Why can’t me you and my side chick all be in a relationship?” WHAT THE FUCK BECAUSE THAT ISNT WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR?? I swear if I catch one more post on my timeline talking about some, “ Ya man’s sidekick look like this, got a PHD says she’ll pay all the bills is bisexual and want all three of y'all to be together. What you do?” I’m gonna flip the fuck out.

This is coming from someone who was cheated on by a WHITE guy too, that shit fucks you up. I didn’t eat for two weeks, could barely sleep for longer. I dropped twenty pounds almost all at once in two months. He was all I could think about and talk about, I was fucking sick. And now finally, a year later, I’m over the situation and terrified to death of dating someone again because I have mad trust issues and it’s like every dating situation I hear is all the same stuff. Like seriously, y'all disgust me. Especially the men who reblog and share those memes and then wax poetic about Black women scared to commit. “Where are all the good black women at? Ain’t nothing but hoes and thots out here.” Okay fuck you.
