Ben Aqua - There’s a Light

“There’s a Light” is a synth pop cover of my fav song from Rock Horror Picture Show, written by Richard O’Brien. This song has forever been a queer weirdo anthem for me, framing the constant battle of light/dark, and feeling like a total freakazoid outsider. To me, the song is a warm blanket around discontent and alienation; a reminder that there’s always love and community around the corner, if we’re open to it and put ourselves out there. Go beyond the comfort zone and self-doubt monsters dissolve away.
