so i’m trying to create an online business and i’m a little scared/nervous because my parents (well my dad, really) are trying to discourage me from it and i’m not sure if what i’m offering is original enough that people will wanna buy from me :’)

i’m willing to invest 150-200 dollars to start the thing off, but i’m just not sure.

i was hoping on selling stationery products, but in bundles-like i would customize and create entire packages of stationery, notebooks, pencils, pens, etc based on particular themes/aesthetics. i would even open up an option where you can customize your own packages and i’ll take care of the rest. it would be perfect for studyblrs, high school/college students in general, and people who like cute, stylish stationery.

i would be willing to put up polls and see what brands people like and see if i could incorporate these brands into my “back-to-school” packages, but it depends on demand.

my packages would be relatively affordable, at about $35, $55, $75, or $95 (depending on what you want and if you want high quality or more affordable stuff).

would anyone be interested? if you would, please reply and/or reblog, i’d love to get as much input as i could :)

i can currently only ship to the US (probably priority mail), but i might try to work out some international shipping if there’s enough demand too!

Alright, friends. It’s 12 AM-and this’ll be my last post on this blog. I will be found on my personal blog, flyingfreeonthewind, from now on.

Thank you very much for four great years and lots of conservatism and shitposting along the way. It’s been wonderful.

I love all of you, and I pray that God will richly bless all of you as you go along in your everyday lives.

From your just-turned-18 and favorite conservative dork-thank ya very much, and live every day as awesomely as possible!

Alright, three and a half more hours, and it’s farewell to this blog~

I was being sentimental in the days leading up to this, and now I’ve kinda run out of that sentimentality. Oops.

Wait what?! OMG, No! Are you getting a new one or are you gone for good?

So I’m leaving this one here!! But I’m not gonna use it (consider it a permanent hiatus of sorts)! I have my personal blog ;v;

So I know this is my last day before I hit hiatus.

And I just want to say:

God, I never realized how much the Federal Government takes out of your paycheck till now, when I get my first paycheck. I earned around 600 bucks or so, and a good 100 dollars has been deducted, so I’m only left with around 500 or so dollars.

Help me.

It helps living in a state that doesn’t have a state income tax.

Oh, I live in a state without income tax. And I still get that much deducted from my paycheck.

There is so much truth in the statement “Taxation is theft.”

OP, don’t forget that your employer has to also pay the same amount in payroll taxes for you that you do, and that is money that you would definitely have been paid otherwise, so it’s more like your total compensation would have been closer to $675 or so

The government uses whatever tricks it can to hide exactly how much it takes from you in taxes but it’s usually at least 25% at a minimum if you count up everything

Thank you for reminding me of those payroll taxes ;o;

Holy cow, that’s fricking insane. That is wayyyyy too much.
