Hana was hummonh softly to herself as she was tending to the garden at her school.

A new student, Leilani Kimura, was walking on campus while rolling her suitcase with her things. She was dressed as she was going on vacation, but it’s just how she dressed.

Hana smiled as she finished her job and then turned to look at a girl she hasn’t seen before. “Hey are you new here?” She asked.

“Yes I am! I’m just trying to find my dorm. This academy is so big that I got lost so many times already! Do you where this room is?” She asked as she handed Hana a paper with her dorm information on it.

“Oh yeah that’s where I stay! Follow me! My name is Hana.”

“Leilani. Nice to meet you!”

“Well Leilani here we are!”

She had the honor to open the door, and saw that there was a bed waiting for her. “Thank you so much! I’m really happy that you’re my roommate!”

“Me too! Don’t worry I won’t be a bother when I’m not here I’m either in class or in the garden.”

“Same here! Is there any body of water nearby?”

“Yup here’s a map.” She said handing her a map.

“Thank you! You’re the best!”

“Don’t mention it just be sure to come back before curfew you don’t want Yuki and Zero on your tail.”

“Who are they?”

“Night guards or something they keep the day class away from the night ones and keeps the piece.”

“I see. Well… I’ll try not to stay out too long. I’m just going to look around. Are you going back to your garden?”

“Yeah maybe read a book while I’m out there.”

“Sounds relaxing. I’m going to go out and explore! I’ll see you later, ok?”

They went their separate ways.

“Okay.” She said as she went to the garden to read her book under a tree that offered some lovely shade.

Leilani walked around the academy feeling somewhat intimidated since everything was new to her. “This is nothing like the islands at all…”

Soon Hana closed her eyes to take a little nap under the tree.

Leilani found her way towards the huge fountain and touched the water.

Hana fell asleep

“What are you doing?” That voice startled Leilani. She saw a white hair boy that was her age with lavender eyes. 

“Sorry!” She backed away from the fountain.

He didnt say anything more just continued to looked at her.

“Ok… I’m just going to go…” She scooted away from that area and continued to explore. “That was weird…”

He stayed there to make sure no one else was breaking the rules.

Leilani ended up in front of the gate where the night class building is. “Don’t even think about it!”

She was startled again by the sound of an unfamiliar voice. “What did I do?!”

“Go back its off limits for the day class.”

“Right! Sorry I’m new here and I don’t know anything around here yet!”

“Well now you do.”

She smiled and nodded. “I’ll just go now.” She walked away, hoping to not bump into anyone else. “I had no idea there were so many restricted places here…” To be honest, she felt trapped.

As she was walking by, she saw Hana sleeping under a tree.

Hana was sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face and the book she was reading left open on her lap.

She was deciding whether or not to wake her since the sun was going down or leave her be for a little bit longer. Hoping that her new roommate wouldn’t be angry with her, she walked towards her.

Hana mumbled something she couldn’t hear it.

Leilani stopped walking, wondering what she said. “Pssst. Hana.” She whispered.

“Hmm…” Hana rubbed her eyes before stretching. “Oh hey Leilani what time is it?”

“Almost 6. The sun is about gone.”

She jumped up. “What oh no its almost tome to head inside. We better hurry before the mob goes to see the night class!”

“Yeah funny story… I almost went through the gate, but I was stopped by one of the guards that you told me about. What’s so special about this night class anyway?”

“Apparently they are full of the cutest people but they don’t really interested me.”

“Mmhmm… If you say they’re not interesting, then I’m not interested either. Anyway, let’s head back.”

“Yeah let’s go.”

Once they got to the room, Leilani threw herself in the bed, facedown on the pillow.

“Home sweet home!” Hana smiled as she watered her plants.

“I can’t believe I got in trouble for touching water…” She mumbled.

“What?”

“I found a huge fountain and touched the water, then this guy with white hair scares me half to death.”

“Oh that’s Zero. He’s cold at first but once you get to know him he melts.”

She raised her head up and smirked. “Do you like him?”

“Hmm I haven’t really gotten to know him.”

“Aw man…” She was changing her clothes into pj’s.

“Something wrong?”

“It’s just… I didn’t expect this. I feel so used to going anywhere I want, and this place has so many restrictions. It was just unusual.”

“Hmm I guess I’m the exact opposite…I never felt so free in all my life.”

“I will try to get use to it. After all, I did sign up for this!”

“That’s the spirit!”

Leilani tied her hair up and bundled up in the blankets.

“Night Leikani.”

“Night.” She turned off the lamp and closed her eyes.

Hana closed her eyes too.

In the middle of the night, Leilani got up still having her eyes closed. She was definitely sleep walking, and went out of the room, quietly shutting the door behind her.

Hana was still fast asleep unaware of this

Leilani managed to make it outside, still unaware herself that she is sleepwalking. She continued to walk.

It was nice and breezy

Eventually, she tripped and fell into some water. That did wake her up as she was now soaked to the bone. “What just happened..?”

She felt a sharp pain on her shin and noticed a trail of red going down. “I must’ve scraped myself…”

Her blood’s scent filled the air.

“I need to get back into the room and patch this up!” She got out of the fountain kind of limping, and was stopped by someone who was now in front of her.

“Oh dear you poor thing.”

“I’m not badly hurt, thanks. Excuse me.” She tried to walk away, but the stranger grabbed her arm.

“You should be more careful.”

“Thanks for the advice, Sherlock.” She snatched her arm out of the tight grasp and rubbed it.

“You should be more nicer to someone who helped you out!”

“You didn’t have to grab me like that!” She sighed. “But… Thanks. Who is the name of my savior?”

“Kaname”

“I’m Leilani. I know I’m not supposed to be out here, I slept walk which I do often so I’ve heard so… I’m just trying to go back in my dorm. Um… See you around I guess.” She was finally able to walk towards the dorms.

“Leilani! There you are I woke up and it was like you disappered.” Hana said out of breath

“I’m sorry! I slept walk and ended up outside and waking up in the fountain.” She slightly laughed.

“Oh okay just be more careful.”

“I’ll try to. Also, some guy was there when I got out. He said his name was Kaname or something like that.”

“Oh him he’s the really popular one in the night class.”

“Oh…” She was thinking to herself. “He’s kind of good looking but I’ll just stop there.”

“Yeah he can be…um I can’t explain it…”

“You don’t need to. Anyway, let’s head back up.”

“Yeah good idea.”

They headed back to the dorm, and hours later class was beginning.

Hana had her notes out and started duddling. She tend to take notes and draw related things.

“Thanks.”

A girl with brown hair and brownish-redish eyes came over to them. “You’re a new student? I’m Yuki!”

“She’s my new roommate and Zero already scared her…” Hana said.

“He did? Sheesh that guy… I’m sorry he scared you.” Yuki said.

“It’s fine!” Leilani responded.

“Like I said he’s ice he’s cold at first.”

“Why are you talking about me?” Speak of the devil, he was sitting behind them at the desk.

“Because she’s new and you scared her.”

“So what? She was being a weirdo thinking the fountain was a swimming pool.”

Leilani glared at him. “Excuse me?! You’re the weirdo here!”

Hana laughed.

Zero said nothing. Yuki just sighed. Leilani just ignored him and mumbled, “Jerk.”

“Give him some time.”

“…Alright.”

Class started and then finished in a blink of an eye.

Hana smiled, “its so breezy out here.”

“Yeah feels nice.”

“I know right!”

“What are you going to do? Tend to your garden?”

“I can’t over care for them.”

“True. I was going to go over towards the night class gate. Not because I’m interested, it’s because I overheard a conversation in class that some girls are going to try to jump over the wall and I wanna see that.”

“Really lets go!” Hana said suddenly intrested.

They went over towards the night class gate. There were a bunch of fangirls already crowding the area with only two disciplinary committee members.

“I wonder what is going on there.”

“Climbing onto each other to jump the wall probably.”

“They’re going to get hurt.”

As the girls we trying to climb, it looked like the top girl was ready to fall.

Without even thinking, Leilani bolted over there and caught the girl.

“Whoa Leilani are you okay?” Hana said running over.

“I’m fine and so is she.” Leilani responded.

“Nice catch!” Yuki commented.

Zero just sighed that the female students were acting out of control.

“Okay…” Hana said as she strolled and picked a white rose. She sniffed it.

Leilani let the girl go, and that was when the night class gate opened, making the female students awed.

Hana wasn’t even fased she was fascinated with the white rose.

“So this is the famous night class?” Leilani asked.

“Yup.” Hana said.

One of the night class students was greeting and looking like he was flirting at the same time. He took one look at Leilani and winked. In response, she just gazed her eyes away.

Hana was honestly ignoring all of it. All her attention was on that white rose.

The discipline committee were doing their job since it was getting rowdy again. Leilani just shrugged. “Show’s over. I’m heading back to the dorm. Are you coming too, Hana?”

“Hmm yeah…that was fun.” She smiled.

They headed back to their dorm.

“Oh and Leilani don’t worrt about sleep walking…I do it too.”

She rubbed the back of her head. “Right… That. I still can’t believe I do that, I do even remember doing it.”

“It’s just happens. Don’t fret over it.”

“Thanks for making me feel better about it. That’s a pretty rose you found by the way.”
