BLOG REBOOT.

//Hey there! As you might have noticed, this blog has kind of known an inactivity period due to me RPing over there on my Maxie blog (which is totally awesome and which you should totally check out by the way).  

THIS DOES NOT MEAN I WILL GO INTO HIATUS. Nope. NOPE MA’AM. I am going to be better than that, and reboot  this blog. I feel like I need a fresh start with Bobby. My dash is cluttered and this doesn’t motivate me, and I’ve fallen into that zone where RPers have a lot of followers but no one bothers sending you asks anymore. Relationships and all we’ve worked on so far will not be lost ;v; They will transfer over (and so will the side blogs). I just feel like I have to do something new with this blog, and this means a drastic change. Sometimes, starting off on a new canvas is easier than trying to erase the parts you don’t like on an old one ;v; 

SO YEAH. I’ll be working on this during the next week, and expect me back soon!

He might’ve been tempted to throw his phone across the room once the sharp, monotonous sound pierced the air, but he stopped himself short when his mind registered the voice that echoed from the other side of the line.  Fool Bright. Of course. Sleep was a sliver of luxury he couldn’t afford long with him around, after all. Though the gravity of the detective’s tone did not escape his notice—tuning out, simply wasn’t an option. As he listened, he found himself carding through his hair after every word, every syllable. Every pause was noted, was amiss. Why all the nervousness? He wondered to the other— and himself. Voice tired, and biting back a yawn, he muttered. “I’ll be right there.” Yet no hint of anxiety was given away, undetectable like a web of lies. But this was no lie. The phone clicked. And soon thereafter, he was out the door and in front of Fulbright’s.

He took the time to put his shades back on before turning the lights back on, sensitive eyes squinting a little at first. It was late, and the air was a bit colder outside, making him pull his hoodie tighter around his chest as he opened the door. There it was, the anticipation, the feeling of dryness in his mouth. Holding the door for the taller man, he greeted him with a nod and a 'Hey, thanks for coming. I'm sorry it's so late.' His smile was a bit forced, but Bobby was happy to see the prosecutor nonetheless. 

It was only when he sat down with two mugs of coffee that the detective let out a sigh. He didn't want to beat around the bush, not for matters as important as those. Taking a sip from the still steaming beverage, he let out a sigh before dropping what needed to be discussed.

 "The NYPD called. They want me back." A sigh. "They have a warm spot for me among the head detectives. Assistant-supervisor, actually." Saying the promotion itself wasn't interesting would be lying. Yet, Bobby hesitated. He couldn't bring himself to leave everything behind for a second time.
