Heyaa! I'm a 21 year old female obsessed fuyoshi. Be prepared for a lot of yaoi (nsfw too) from KnB, SnK and so on. Of course there will most likely be foodporn and a lot of randomness, too!

The reason I rarely draw now…I finally know why… I dislike using the table bc it’s cold and drawing on bed gives me shoulder cramps…hopefully I’m more motivated when I’m back.

But I wanted to draw something for Valentine because I’m in A3! hell right now and just needed an excuse to draw Izumi. If I want her to end up with anyone then for me, it has to be Sakyo. The feels man….

Yeah…spending most of my time with mobage now /sobs

Also not sure if someone already posted about this but…. While Ep 7 of YOI was airing, Kubo-sensei (character design/original creator for the show) tweeted the following:

“Somehow I felt like there was some kind of synchronization going on with this week’s ‘Nigehaji,’ I wonder if I’m thinking too much.”

Nigehaji is an abbreviation for a drama airing right now in Japan, with the full name being “Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu/We Married As A Job(?).”

Guess what happened in this week’s episode of that drama:

long story short yuuri/viktor kiss indirectly confirmed

For my English-Speaking followers: so basically, the FN has won the first part of our regional elections. Broadly : Marine LePen is our French equivalent of Donald Trump. Her party is implicitly xenophobic, overtly anti-gay marriage and pro-life, and most of its members are sexist, racist and islamophobic idiots. So we are basically about to be a Fascist country in theory, how beautiful is that?
As a good example of the mentality of this party, its former president, Marine LePen’s father Jean-Marie, was accused to have said that ‘the Jewish genocide’ was only a ‘minor detail’ of WW II and on another occasion, that it hadn’t even taken place at all. He is also said to have claimed that his ‘daughter was born in the good race’. Another horrible example: a little girl whose family is pro-FN was interviewed in the street, and when journalists asked her what she knew about the FN, she replied, most certainly following what she’d heard at home: that ‘they aimed at exporting people who aren’t white’. So her parents are overtly racist at home and probably wouldn’t have said that on TV, but a little can never understand such thing so she wasn’t afraid to say it out loud, thus clearly expressing what the party’s members are trying to hide between a hardcore patriotic facade. There are a lot of other examples but I will stop there.
The Attack of Paris have something to do with this, it’s obvious. People are afraid, they think it’s going to solve terrorism if innocent illegal immigrants and Syrian refugees are sent back to their countries of origin. People CANNOT understand that this is precisely what terrorists from ISIS want: to divide us, to create fear and racism within us all.
This triumph of a fascist party in France is ISIS’s triumph as well. We screwed up hard, and I’m concerned for the future. The Presidential elections take place in 2017, and if we keep going that way, this country is going downhill… Edit : If you are a French citizen, please go and vote next Sunday. There was a huge level of abstention for the first round and this passivity partly led to that nightmare./ Si vous êtes un citoyen français, je vous supplie d'aller voter dimanche prochain pour le second tour. Il y avait un niveau démesuré d'abstention pour ce premier tour et c'est en parti pour cela qu'on s'est retrouvé dans le caca.
This is a global problem, not just an America thing. I’ve been saying for a while that the current political situation reminds me of the period between WWI and WWII and that feeling is only growing strong.
Shit’s getting real kids, it’s time to buckle up.

Who’s down for an America-France alliance for the revolution, 1778-style?

stuff I appreciate on “Yuri on Ice”

  • Yuri is a character that struggles with his weight, and he is a professional athlete. This isn’t a one time comment or information from an interview, it is an actual character trait and something as simple as showing what Yuri eats maintains this consistently.
  • Yuri had a bit of a crush on Yuko when they were children, but the fact they never got together doesn’t mean they are no longer friends; they care for each other, for each other’s families, root for each other and are always happy when the other is happy
  • on top of that Yuko is married to Takeshi, and Takeshi is a good friend of Yuri’s as well. The Nishigori marriage are easily Yuri’s closest friends in Japan and their daughters are fans of him too.
  • Yuri doesn’t get on Yurio’s level whenever Yurio is mean to him, the only time Yuri competes against Yurio is on the rink when they are skating cause they are both professional skaters. Yuri, an adult, does not fight a teenager but doesn’t let him win either.
  • Yuri’s friends support Yurio as well. Even if Yurio is still pissed at Viktor, Yurio does communicate with Yuko and her family and doesn’t treat them badly for being Yuri’s friends.
  • this may seem like a small thing but, the main pairing in this show is made out of two adults. Yes it may not seem like much but if this was any type of Yaoi, a literal child would wind up portrayed as the one having a romance with his coach.
  • Yuri’s problems are stated as being psychological. Mental and emotional issues affect your life and it is ok to portray that.
  • Yuri’s previous coach still talks to him and is proud of him, same as his ballet teacher. Just because you changed careers or are trying something new, that doesn’t mean that all the people you knew before are gone from your life.
  • Yurio is not used to loosing, but upon loosing to someone else that he looked down on he changed strategies and stepped up his game.
  • Yuri is not afraid to be selfish anymore. People praise selflessness, but that shouldn’t come in the way of not moving forward. Yes you can want someone else’s affection, you deserve to win at what you are working on, you deserve to feel important and to not let others tell you otherwise.
  • you can be an adult and still decide to do something new with your life
  • Yuri’s parents don’t know anything about his career besides “he got a good rank we guess”. I actually relate to this a lot cause no one in my family has the same career as me, not even distant cousins, so there’s only so much of what I do that they can actually understand.
  • that said, just because they don’t get it, this doesn’t mean they don’t support it. Sometimes all your parents know to do with what you like is tell you “sure go ahead” and that’s a form of encouragement. They found a dance teacher for Yuri and let him ice skate (which is probably not cheap) and they always watch his competitions.
  • this is an international competition. And we have people from at least 3 continents representing that. A character from Thailand? can’t remember seeing that elsewhere, a dude from Switzerland? Azerbaijan too? the Chinese boy is not a kung fu stereotype? and the American one is Latino?!?!? yes please
  • Yuri is one of those people who downplay themselves so much, that they can’t imagine other people thinking that they are amazing. But yes, you are amazing, someone thinks so, and it is ok to not fully believe that yourself at first, but don’t discourage others from looking up to you as they have their reasons for doing so.
