BJD owners who have cats

Heyo! I was just wondering how y’all keep your dolls (and kitties) safe - I’m thinking of adopting a cat, but I’m worried that she’ll chew on or lick the dolls and get sick, or else knock them off the table, or something else that I haven’t thought of ^^; For the record, I’ve never owned a cat before (only a dog and some small pets), so I just want to make sure everyone will be safe before I commit to anything.
