the smile that he does??? when he’s so genuinely happy about something and his whole face just lights up?????

the fact that he’s an incredibly complex well written character with believable motivations for everything that he does. and that despite the fact that he’s not a natural genius and has had so many setbacks in his volleyball career he’s never let the reality of that hold him back and instead has let it all push him steadfastly forward and used it as motivation to grow stronger
the fact that even though the above fact is true, he still clearly struggles with a lot of insecurities
his dynamic with his team in general!!!! and that you can tell just by looking at them interact that the entire team deeply respects and believes in him despite them all messing with each other all the time. like he’s honestly an amazing captain and the atmosphere that he builds up whenever he’s on the court w/ ppl is like the ideal for a sports team to have.
in general just like???? how attentive he is around people???? how he uses his sharp observational skills to bring the best out of anyone that he’s playing with. how even with his fans he’s always really considerate and attentive and doesn’t put them down or use them, thanks them wholeheartedly for the nice things they do like baking him cookies before their big competition or coming to watch seijou’s practice matches. how he acts like a little shit sometimes but is so responsible and dependable that his cOACHES EVEN BELIEVE IN HIS LEADERSHIP ENOUGH TO LET HIM MAKE AND DISCUSS PLAY DECISIONS INDEPENDENTLY WITH HIS TEAM.
the fact that he’s an uncle!! and takes care of and has a great family relationship with his kid nephew!! and probably has a great relationship with his older sibling too if they trust him to take care of their kid!!
