Xellos was stunned into near silence. It had been months since Elle had appeared before him.
“I…!”
“Yes?” she prompted. “Do I get a, ‘I’ve missed you so much, mistress!’ or ‘I’m so glad you’re back, how did I ever live without you, Elle’? Not even a ‘Thank you for gracing me with your presence again!’?” she’d missed toying with him.
“Surprise, Xellos!” Elle greeted as she appeared beside the priest. She had been gone for quite a while, taking care of a situation in one of the other worlds. Now that she had returned, she thought she should pay a visit to her favorite Mazoku.
Well, I miss my scions. I’m gonna clean up around here, change my theme and all that. Also, mun face claim.

So @accioharo posted that two gifts somehow were missed in the @slayers-santa for 2015. One request was for Xellina, so I said I’d be up for it. Took me a bit to get a sketch but I like it quite a bit. The request was “XellosxLina where Lina wears Xellos’ mantle and/or shirt because it is cold out.” I was a little liberal with it, having Xellos basically pulling the mantle onto her, but I think the result is good haha. Sooo… happy super late Christmas, @gxldenlord / @raxtilt!
And here I thought I wouldn’t be coming back to this blog. Not getting anything for that exchange really bugged me a lot, I didn’t think I’d ever get it. Thank you so much, Piku!
Alright, so here’s the scoop. I’m taking a hiatus. Possibly a very long one. Possibly a permanent one. I’ve been having some very very bad issues with stress, and a lot of them involve this blog. It isn’t something that anyone is doing wrong, it’s just too much for me right now. My whole life is about to change a LOT within the next few months, and I just can’t be stressing myself with all of this on top of that all.
All that said, there are two reasons you might say ‘no don’t leave’ which I really don’t expect many people to say, but here’s how it goes.
1. You like reading my threads with other people
I really appreciate that but unfortunately, that kind of pressure is a lot of what I just can’t deal with right now. If you want fanfiction that’s meant for other people to read, you can ask for my AO3 account, though. If I get any interest, I’ll think about doing some Xellucia fics on there. ^_^
2.You like RPing with me
You are one of a quickly dying group, friend. BUT if you cannot POSSIBLY live without our threads, hit me up on Skype and maybe we’ll work out something there.
I don’t really expect to get any messages about this, but we’ll see. And again, I COULD be back, but I’m not sure, and it will quite likely be quite a while even if I am. I’m not upset right now though, so you shouldn’t be either, okay? Have fun!

“I agree completely. Most people couldn’t handle the idea of the four worlds, let alone alternate copies on the infinite scale.” Lina paused, angling her words now. “Xellos.. Was different than the place I’m from. I was trying to gauge his personality as much as get data from him. He’s more serious. More.. I’m not sure. Confident? Assured? Not quite sure how to put it.”
“Zelas… Well, you know Xellos can’t do anything without the approval of his superiors. If he’s helping you, and you trust him, shouldn’t you trust her?” She spotted the town in the distance. “If you want to talk about this later, I understand. You probably want to keep things from being common knowledge to avoid complications. And to turn off your shine, if you can.” After a moment’s thought. “You can call me ‘Lily’ in town, I guess. If anyone asks, we’ll say that we’re twins.”
Lucia was glad for the reminder to dim her glow, and she stopped for a moment, concentrating until the golden hue and glow faded away, leaving a perfectly human-looking Lina looking at her double. For some reason, knowing they looked alike now made Lucia want to give a triumphant wink. And she did.
“Well then Lily, how do I look?” she joked. “Still adorable, or do you miss seeing yourself in gold?”
Though it was mostly a joke, Lucia sort of wanted to be told that her signature color was usually an improvement. It was the only part of this form that was truly hers, after all. And of course Xellos would try and tell her what she wanted to hear, but the fact was that he just didn’t have an eye for aesthetics and didn’t really care. A fresh pair of eyes and a genuine complement might just make her day into less of a complete disaster.
Just got home from an impromptu slumber party. It was fun. We watched a ton of movies I hadn’t seen. Quick nap and then I’ll decide if I’m getting straight to drafts or taking some time off for other things. Good to be home!
