Alex Gaskarth drops knowledge on bands, “You’re not here to fuck around with girls.”

In a new interview with Team Rock, All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth addressed how he believes bands should conduct themselves.

Start prioritizing again and remember what you’re here for. You’re not here to fuck around with girls, I’m sorry. There is obviously a lot of attention that’s put on people who are on stage or people who are in the spotlight and it’s very easy to get wrapped up in the wrong things, be there for the wrong reasons.
You have to be careful and you have to realize that in doing those things that sometimes feel easy, it’s like a rapid reward or a quick reward, you’re hurting people. You could be doing damage and I think that’s what people need to remember–is that there’s a lasting effect that these little, casual encounters have. It’s really important to avoid that and to respect people and to treat people like human beings, not just people who are popping up on Tinder, or Facebook, or whatever the hell it is.
