Hello everyone, and farewell to 2022! Thank you so much for your support this past year!💖 We bring you our sincere best wishes for a good 2023, as well as a small gift to send out the year: a small update to our demo on Itch and a fresh new release of the demo on Steam!

The new version of the demo (virtually identical on Itch and Steam) contains a fix to streamline the opening choice, corrects some typos, and includes an improved version of a background CG. We hope you'll give it a gander sometime! In the meantime, thank you once more for your kind support throughout the year. We're always grateful for the kind words we've received and will always strive not to disappoint. We both sincerely wish you all the best in this coming year, and promise to continue doing our best!

We're thrilled to finally be able to release the free demo for our fantasy-romance visual novel, Pyreside Waltz!

Pyreside Waltz is a fantasy-romance visual novel set in a strange kingdom of colourful characters. The player can pursue one of five different suitors, each with unique Live2D models and animations (which can be exchanged for static sprites if desired)!

In this game you play Motya, a strange doll and the protagonist of the story! With their low-key personality and their dry wit, their origins are something of a mystery.

Ermolai is a jovial and well-meaning leader brimming with an exuberant energy. A clayman hardy enough to flower through all four seasons, he feels a responsibility for Motya right away.

Perepyol is a weary scholar who's seen too much over his many years of service. A shrewd polyp with a dry, acerbic manner, Motya presents him with a curious mystery.

Vakhet is very serious about his work as a palace guard. Due to being a wisp he's often regarded with caution, but his kind manners and calm demeanour may assuage any worries about his intentions.

Timoor is a backalley doctor and a jovial alloy, quick to boisterous laughter that belies his great professionalism. Though kind to all he meets, he may have a particular soft spot for Motya.

Rosherik, a deliverer of goods, is a bold individual with an untrusting nature. Though caustic and outspoken, there may be another side to this glacial once the walls come down.

This demo will bring you through the first day of gameplay! It's enough time to get to know the characters, see some of the world, and make a few choices up to the branching storylines!

Pyreside Waltz/Motya Awakening announcement!

Two exciting announcements about our upcoming Live2d Visual Novel, until now nicknamed 'Motya Awakening':

We're happy to announce the official name of the game: Pyreside Waltz!

Also, the game demo will release on 5/17!

That's just 6 days away! The game is undergoing final tweaks before release, and in the meantime we'll be counting down with you here!

In the game you play as Motya, an autonomous doll, and have the opportunity to court 5 strange suitors within the city of Kyzhov! The demo will allow you to meet and get to know all the suitors, so please check it out! The game will allow for you to toggle between static and Live2d, so anyone can play!

Rosherik Mikhailkovey Vasa is our fifth suitor! Rosherik is a crass, bold-spoken individual with an untrusting nature. Though quick to speak his mind and brutally candid, he does open up to those who impress him, revealing a sharp sense of humor and a surprisingly dutiful side.

Timoor Alyovey Zimnyachko is our fourth suitor! Timoor is a jovial man, quick to boisterous laughter that belies his great professionalism. Though it's rare for residents of the backalleys to have such kindly, caring demeanors, it's served Timoor well.

Vakhet Taciavey Dzhurychak is our third suitor! Vakhet is a diligent guard and a consummate professional. As a wisp he's often regarded with caution, but his impeccable manners and pleasant demeanor go far in assuaging worries regarding his integrity. Mostly.

Perepyol Innokyvey Golovin is our second suitor! Perepyol is a weary scholar who's seen too much over his many years of service. A shrewd polyp with a dry, acerbic manner, he can be quite offputting at first, but enough time spent around him might break past his jaded exterior.
