Whoops! Hey there. Sorry for bumping into you. Would you mind just standing there for a few minutes till the guards leave? Thanks. I'm Alanna. Welcome to Agrabah. So long as you're not looking for someone to pay for your stay or a royal to marry, I'm your girl. I can show you a world of amazing secrets...and some not so amazing ones as well. C'mon, I'll show you around! Do you trust me?

She nodded to everything that Alanna was saying. It did feel a bit better to think of Alanna as shielding her. This wasn't because of revenge, this was protection. And, if she was being honest, Jasmine did want to be protected. She was exhausted and sick, constantly in fear that Jafar would harm her. "I do trust you... As much as I can trust anything right now." Jasmine was scared, but she did trust that Alanna was at least on her side.

"I'm afraid to do this, but it'll be better once it's done. I do want things to be better... I just don't worry that I can't handle the price." Jasmine sighed, looking up at Alanna. "Maybe whoever I was before could handle it... But, it has to happen. I know he'll end up killing all of us if I don't do anything."

She was crying, wiping her eyes quickly. "I don't want him to keep hurting me... I'm so scared that he'll end up killing me."

Alanna still left her hand outstretched towards Jasmine. She’d managed to catch Jasmine’s fingertips as the princess had dropped her own hand, so maybe…?

“Put your hand in mine, amyrti,” she whispered. Obviously simply keeping her hand there hadn’t been enough of an invitation, and she wanted to see whether they might actually be able to share at least this little bit of warmth with each other, separated as they were.

“Whatever price must be paid for our freedom and Agrabah’s freedom, I will do all I can to pay it for you, amyrti. Ahuv sheli. Let me bear the burden until you feel you can share it.”

Yes I’m living.

Well well well… aren’t you a lucky one…stumbling across my secret stash of Aladdin + Jasmine kisses I’ve drawn through the years. (Small handful mind you). Go on, kiss the one you love, or if your single, kiss your cat. Unless you don’t have a cat which is concerning and bit sad for you not gonna lie… honestly how are you single without a cat?!??! Lol

Pokemon trainer Jasmine

She is currently just enjoying exploring the Pokemon world and her goal is to visit all the regions. She has a Torracat. And also let’s throw in the round GS beta tiger too because it’s a crime it didn’t make it into the final game, she’s from a rich family so maybe her dad paid scientists to clone it from a fossil or something.

Draw Broadway Genie please 🙏🏽

Here he is! Just like with Aladdin, this is actually the first time I've done a full illustration of Genie. I've done sketches and bust drawings, but never his full body.

I had a lot of fun drawing his costume! I think the pants were my favorite part to do. He's got these cool swirls going on, and I love to scribble so I really enjoyed doing that. Also, love all his bling.

Drew James Monroe Iglehart's Genie because I love the OBC. The original cast members are all very special to me. I really loved Major Attaway in the role too!

i really adore   love as hope  plots…  where bad things still happen, tragedy strikes, but love perseveres.  it doesn’t fix anything.  it doesn’t cure anyone.  it doesn’t solve the problems, or lessen the trauma or pain, or heal the wounds.  but, it gives people something to hold onto.  it gives them a reason to push on, through the darkness, and the disasters, and the awful parts of life.  it gives people hope, and a sense of peace no matter how terrible things get, that they aren’t alone through it all.

“I don’t think he ought to fear I’ll steal away his heir. And you’re always free to reject me, amira. I wouldn’t hold you to a relationship you don’t think is working out,” Alanna replied. She could see how the smile didn’t reach Jasmine’s eyes, and she could guess what the younger princess was thinking. At least, she thought she might guess it. She’d felt the same sort of pressures, herself—though the heir to the Forty Thieves and their goum had some vastly different responsibilities from the heir to a Sultanate. Responsibilities others outside the goum might not recognize as being necessary, but they were a part of their way of life, and had been for some time.

Alanna hadn’t let go of Jasmine’s hand yet, and she gave it a gentle squeeze, hoping to reassure her a little. “Even should you choose not to accept my advances, I would still like to be your friend, amira. If you need someone to talk to—someone who can actually give advice with no expectations—you can always call for me,” she said softly. Then her smile returned at the question of where they were going. “There’s a small oasis less than an hour’s ride from the city’s edge. I thought we could watch the sunset from there.”

Jasmine shook her head, stepping a bit closer to Alanna. "It's not that... I am definitely interested in continuing this." The oasis did sound amazing, especially as it offered her the chance to leave the palace without all eyes being on her. She loved wearing a disguise and going through the kingdom, but she wished that she didn't need to hide in order to just feel normal.

She gestured into her room, looking back for a moment before turning back toward Alanna. "I- I should probably change so nobody notices me." She was so used to needing to hide, which she assumed would still need to happen in order for her to leave the palace without issue. And running around with Alanna also felt like she needed to be careful, even with the permission from her father.

Alanna’s smile widened as Jasmine stepped closer still, and she gave her hand a small, brief squeeze. “I’m very glad of that,” she replied softly. “Though I won’t retract what I said. A young woman of your rank deserves to have at least one choice within her control always. If you ever feel trapped by my advances, please tell me, and I will willingly let you go.”

She chuckled, strangely amused by the parallels in their situations. Jasmine felt she needed to hide her identity to get out of the palace, while Alanna often needed to hide her own identity to get into places. “That shouldn’t be too much of a problem, amira. Though perhaps a skirt and leggings would be better riding attire than what you have on currently.” Her own clothes, while still finely made and clearly well-tailored, were of sturdier fabrics than the silks Jasmine wore. Though she’d seen plenty of riders in silks and finer fabrics before.
