Welcome (updated 06/23)

My name is Tate and welcome to my roleplay blog. I am 30 years old and have been roleplaying for 15-plus years. I am from New Zealand and work a full-time job in a medical laboratory. It keeps me very busy. Please be aware that I am Transgender and have Autistic, ADHD and Dyslexia.

I am selective with who I write with and I am mutuals only. I am OC and crossover friendly, so please DM me if you want to write.

Things to know about me. I am Trans and I have Autistic, ADHD and Dyslexia. I will not accept any hate on this blog.

I write as an escape and for fun. This does mean I may not reply quickly because I may not be feeling the muses or the type of thread. This is a hobby. I love writing but when it becomes a chore I will stop writing. Please do not hound me for replies every single day.

I do write some intense things these are R18-type stuff. If you are uncomfortable with gore, violence, or anything remotely related, I would not recommend following me. Jervis is a very dark muse. You can read more about it in the links below.

Jervis is the first ever Canon muse I have had, established way back in 2013. He has a special place in my heart. He is largely based on comics and the Arkham games. While he seems childlike on the outside, he is mentally ill and I am not watering down what he has done.

If we talk often out of character, I am more likely to do replies. So please feel free to come talk to me.

Shipping will be very hard to do with Jervis. He is obsessed with Alice, so unless you are Alice or he thinks you are Alice. It may not happen. We will need to talk about this.

Non-roleplay blogs, please do not interact.

There will be alot of post of Rabbits, that is just Jervis.

If your muse is a young, blonde female, there is a high chance he will believe that she is Alice, unless your muse is Harley Quinn or we have talked about it previously.

Any more information will be added later.

I’m sorry, I’m just—I’m just really tired.”

"It's fine Alice, let's get you up to bed." Jervis said as he held the girl close. The necklace around her neck is shining bright, the Kryptonite shard doing its job which showed him that this was his real Alice. Since the kryptonite weakened her, he didn't need to put anything in the tea but he added a small amount of benzodiazepines to make her sleep while he worked on some stuff.

He held her close as he moved them up the stairs to the room he had made hers, the outside of the door having four different locks on it and the windows covered in bars, so there was no way she could escape.

The room was that of a little girl, it was themed like wonderland and a camera sat in the corner of the room, so he could keep an eye on things. He sat her down on the bed and helped her out of her clothes, leaving her only in her bra and panties.

"Now you be a good girl Alice and we can have a tea party once you wake, but that's only if you are good." He said as he laid her down on the bed and covered her with his blanket. He pressed a kiss onto her forehead. "Sleep well my dear Alice."

"The Narrows, it is not the safest place in town. The poor and undesirables live here. The rich refuse to step foot here unless it's for their own publicity. Not to mention it's close enough to Arkham that no-one really wants to live here." Jervis was rather smart and articulate when he wanted to be. While he preferred his childlike persona for the most part, in certain situations it helped, this being one of those moments.

He tilted his head and blinked at her when she spoke of Alice and her being from Wonderland. Of course she knew, it just confirmed it, she was Alice but he didn't give it away that he knew just yet. No, he would wait and give her the necklace he got made for her. if she reacted to it then he had confirmation.

"Exactly like Alice. She likes to play dress up and that is her favourite." He hummed and began to make his way up to the steps of the two story building he acquired, his hands reaching in his pocket to get the key. "Im sorry for the mess, I haven't had time to clean since Alice went missing."

He pushed open the door once he unlocked it and stepped in, holding the door to allow her to follow. It was a fairly clean place, he just had piles of books littering the halls. The books ranged from children's books to complex textbooks about neuroscience. The majority of the doors were closed but one was opened that lead to the dining room/kitchen where a long table was set out for that of a tea party.

"Come, take a seat. I will grab the cake and put on some tea."

"That's horrible. My father, he was from the poor part of Brooklyn but my mother, she was from a very rich family, like Wayne rich but she was always doing what she could for the poor, so was my father." Since she'd gotten to this new universe, she hadn't talked much about ehr family. She missed them, missed her twin brother maybe the most but there wasn't anything she could do about it and her father would want her to focus on doing what she could to help others.

"Oh, she likes to play dressup. Do you mean like a cosplayer?" Sarah blushed, "you know, funny thing, I dressed up as Alice one time for Halloween and I made my brother dress up like Dormouse. He hated me so much and wanted to be the Mad Hatter but that's who my boyfriend was." When he said the house was messy she shrugged. "It's alright you're in distress and I would never hold that against anyone."

Sarah nodded at him as he pushed the door open and she walked through. She couldn't help but look around and try to take in as much as she could. As she looked through the books around her she couldn't help the furrowed brown. "My mother is big into neuroscience. She's trying to come up with a way to help veterans of war with their head trauma with a chip placed in their brain to help with their memories. IT's amazing and it's from my grandfather's nanotech."

When he told her to go in the dining room, her eyes widened at the whole setup that looked like a party. There was a moment that she had a feeling that something must be off but she pushed it to the side, knowing there wasn't anything he could do to her really. "You know, why don't we just sit down and you can tell me about the last time you saw Alice."

"Cosplay?" Jervis wasn't exactly knowledgeable in popular modern culture. He stuck to what he knew, he didn't like to divert. He almost stopped as she spoke about dressing up as Alice, of course she did. It was another confirmation she was who he was looking for but he did not like the idea of his Alice being with someone else. He was her Mad Hatter. He was her only Mad Hatter.

"That's very fascinating." Jervis said with a hum as she spoke about the chips her mother used on soldiers. He had a similar thing he had been working on. Transferring the mind control hats that he had into chips. For the most part it had been working, there were just a few things he needed to fix up before it was perfect.

"She liked to have tea parties, Alice. " He said when he saw her reaction to the table set out. She was very good at acting like this wasn't all for hers. "I thought if I kept it set up, she might return." His voice was small as sat down in the chair, the tea and cake all but forgotten.

"She was just gone, I woke up and she was gone. I don't know if she was taken or she ran. She likes to play hide and seek maybe she thought it was a game?" He broke and began to weep. "She's my only family and she is gone."

  • “Given the circumstances… I’d like to return them.”
  • “How did you do that just now? That was… I don’t even know.”
  • “You’re a stranger that’s only getting stranger.”
  • “I have to admit… that was… grand.”
  • “Have you not met me, or my reputation before?”
  • “I know everyone like the back of my hand, and you’re a new spot on it.”
  • “Uhg… couldn’t have gotten anyone better?”
  • “So the expert on all of this is… you?”
  • “I’m beginning to think there is doubt stirring between us.”
  • “There isn’t full confidence here. Maybe, half full confidence. Two thirds at most.”
  • “Well this certainly has me blown away.”
  • “Don’t you look exotic and fun.”
  • “Elegant and stunning… do go on, tell me more!”
  • “You could do it better… I think. Try again?”
  • “I beg of your most pardons?! Care to repeat that?”

"I guess it is." Jervis said with a hum, he never really thought about his name being unique, it was just his name, he had it for so long it just seemed normal.

He watched her as she talked about the cake she had growing up. Blinking when she mentioned her birthday. She wasn't born on July the 4th. That wasn't Alice's birthday but he kept his mouth shut for the time being.

The Narrows were not the safest place in Gotham. The slums of Gotham were where he lived, he was safe there, the crime kept away people that would hand him over to the authorities.

"Alice, she looks like you." He said to her as turned a corner to the street where his home was. "Young, blonde and blue eyes. Cute. I think she was wearing a dress last I saw her. A blue dress."

There was a change in the man's heart rate when she mentioned her birthday but she just figured his change was because he really wanted to find his friend Alice. It wasn't beyond her that she started to notice the changes in the people around them, the area and what everything looked like.

Instantly, Sarah started to be on guard but she knew from her father to keep a natural and friendly dispostion even if you're starting to feel uncomfortable. She took a deep breath, focusing on the direction they were going, and she'd started to pay attention to the street names if she needed to find her way back.

"This area needs a bit of renovation. Makes me think of a place where I'm from called Hell's Kitchen. After the attack on New York, it really never was the same. It always looked a bit like..." She now was watching the people they passed. "Does this area of town have a name?"

Sarah was now chewing on her lower lip but when he said what his friend looked like, she blushed. "I guess I should have known she looked something like me when you'd mistaken me for her." But her brow furrowed at the next discripter. "A blue dress? And her name is Alice." Sarah giggled, "You mean to tell me that she looks a bit like Alice from Wonderland then?"

"The Narrows, it is not the safest place in town. The poor and undesirables live here. The rich refuse to step foot here unless it's for their own publicity. Not to mention it's close enough to Arkham that no-one really wants to live here." Jervis was rather smart and articulate when he wanted to be. Sarah's eyes widened. "Of course they do. You care about her and she seems lucky to have someone that cares about her that much." He seemed so worried and she hated that, hated to see someone so worried about someone lost and if they looked anything like her, they must be young, that made Sarah even more concerned with her where-abouts. She wondered if she should contact Bruce but this was something she could handle on her own. It wasn't like this man could really do much to her.
Biting down on her lower lip, looking up at the counter and then back towards the stranger, she nodded. "Sure, then you can show me a picture of what she looks like and I can see if I can find her for you. I do really like tea though..." She walked out of the cafe with him as she looked up, "do you have red velvet cake? With the cream cheese Icing? That's my favorite, oooor.... I really like carrot cake."
She laughed, knowing that she should take all of this more seriously and she would but it was nice to talk to someone that wasn't calling her Kara, or saying she looked like Kara. All this world seemed to love supergirl, just like they all loved her mom and dad back home. "So I told you my name, I'm Sarah, what's your name? Otherwise I'm just gonna call you mysterious stranger."

Jervis was confused, how could she talk like that but still act like she didn't know him. Was it a game? He wasn't sure but he was glad when she agreed to come and help him. It meant he was gaining her trust, it meant that she would soon be his again and he would not let her go. She will wear the pretty little necklace he had gotten her, and she would not be able to leave. He was sure of it.

"I believe I have some carrot cake with cream cheese icing, no red velvet but that can easily be arranged." He told her, he always had carrot cake, it was Alice's favourite, so it was off putting when she said red velvet but he put it down to her playing her silly little game.

His eyes continued to glance at her as they walked, taking in every little detail of her face and could confirm that he was right, she was his Alice but he would play her game. He would call Sarah for now. "Jervis, my name is Jervis Tetch."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Tetch. That's a very unique last name. I don't think I've ever heard one quite like that." She smiled when he mentioned that he had carrot cake. "I might love it as much as red velvet but my mother makes me a cake every year for my birthday that is red with white frosting and blue fireworks since I was born on the fourth of July like my pops." She shrugged before watching where they were going.

The neighborhood seemed a bit deserted but she'd noticed that most of Gotham seemed to look rather worn down and maybe he couldn't afford anything else. "So Jervis, tell me about your friend Alice. Maybe that will help me find her if you tell me what she's like... maybe what she looks like. Is she younger, older, dark hair light hair. What color are her eyes? Maybe even what she was wearing the last time you saw her."
