A highly questionable group of retired investigators calling themselves "the Case Breakers" claims that claims they've solved the case but it seems they don't have actual strong evidence, no one actually working on Zodiac case has announced anything, and almost no reputable source is reporting this. I think Ahsoka is completely selfless but for entirely selfish reasons, and that’s one of her most compelling and complex character qualities and why I adore her so much.

Yes, It’s to save him. Yes, she does it to protect him. Ahsoka knows Ezra doesn’t stand a chance against Vader. The odds would obviously be better with two, but Ahsoka is willing to fight Vader alone. She won’t risk Ezra’s life.

But not because she is sacrificing herself. Not because she knows Vader must be stopped. Not because she thinks she’s the only one to can stop him.

Ahsoka HAS to save Anakin. She HAS to. Not to save his soul, but to save hers.

Ahsoka blames herself. Ahsoka has always blamed herself, for everything. She takes on more responsibility than she needs, she takes on more moral weight than belongs to her. She knows things are beyond her control, and yet never acknowledges it. She forces the universe to bend to her will. But unlike Anakin, Ahsoka bends the universe to be needed.

She needs to be needed.

Ahsoka always feels like the weight of the galaxy is on her shoulders. And she needs it.

In the “Padawan Lost” arc, Ahsoka immediately takes it upon herself to lead others, to save as many as possible. Every death feels like a personal failure. It’s always written on her face. She needs to save others. Not just for them, but for the ache in her heart.

Ahsoka willingly takes any weight, any challenge, any lost soul. And fixes them, trying to fix herself too.
