It's no use pretending anymore.

Kind of want to start a Coconut Gallery because I really like coconut, but that would require me to get two of all of the album items?

I just realized I don't think I ever updated the neotag on this back in December!

But, excluding the Coconut Slingshot which is extinct outside of gen'd items, I finished my gallery in December! Almost ten years to the day since I decided to make one, looking at this post.

When I made this post, I was concerned about needing to get two Flaming Evil Coconuts so I could also completely the stamp album.

At the time I made this post FEC was going for around 30m. I watched that price rise and rise until I got lucky and won a Coltzan Stamp, which I traded, putting put items in the over-1b range,

Inflation is fucking nuts. Yeah it feels like a waste a bit with the quest log prize, but glad that getting a second will be less insane!

Okay I don't like to assume I have a bigger impact then I do, but let me lay this out for you:

4/5 - Get a comic into the April Fool's issue, this incident happens

4/9 - Make a comic inspired by this incident, submit to the NT

4/17 - Comic rejected for 'Too Many Good Entries' (the default reject letter). Figure they just wanted to try focusing on themed comics for that issue

4/30 - Resubmit this comic for the next NT, thinking it might have better luck for a non-themed issue

5/1 - The Item Prize Pool for the Daily/Weekly Quests updates for the first time since the feature's launch. The Flaming Evil Coconut is included as a Weekly prize.

5/4 - Comic gets rejected again, 'Too Many Good Entries'

I may not have gotten this comic into the Neopian Times (it's not as funny now that it's slightly more affordable so I don't plan to resub), but I think I might have indirectly alerted the team about the price gauging on the Flaming Evil Coconut and that idea makes me laugh.

Neopets Users: Half of the website is bungled and sitting on top of 90's spaghetti code that is circumvented by having about 50% of the pages to load in the old website format, we can't change our Usernames since they act as our User IDs that are inexorably tied to our accounts, and the only way we can get some apparel is through a loot box that costs real money, sometimes upwards of 10 bucks for a 25% chance of getting what we want. That's ok tho, my favorite neopet has a custom outfit that looks really nice :] Sucks when the clothing that costs realass money doesn't show up on my pet though. I hope they fix that soon

1) her statue at the bottom of the ocean

2) these two cards (the character one being my most beloved card that had its whole own page to itself at the front of my binder)

so I thought Fyora was actually supposed to be a scary evil queen lolol
