Date a boy who makes you happy, but marry him only if he makes you laugh deep-belly rumbles that hurt your ribs as they expand outwards. Date him when he sees that you’re hurting and he gives you a moment to feel that pain like a handprint spreading across your consciousness, marry him only if he can make you smile even while you’re gross sobbing. The world is not a kind place. You will feel a lot of pain. Make sure you are with someone who makes it all bearable. Humor is an excellent gauge of intelligence. Life gets boring. Find someone who makes the banal interesting.

I just received some thrilling news. Can’t wait to begin working on this production! :) (at STC | Sacramento Theatre Company)
I am bursting with pride and happiness for this girl. she is so driven and passionate about her field (not to mention unbelievably talented and kind of intensely good looking but that’s beside the point) and she inspires me. she works so hard and follows her heart even when the path isn’t easy or clear cut and I have so much respect for her as a professional and as a woman. having a woman like her in my life who has such high expectations and goals for herself is amazing and rare and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here. she was there for me when I failed and she was there for me when I succeeded this year, supporting me. I am so elated to share what was likely a similar experience for her when I got into my clinical program - watching the universe reward dedication. it feels so damn good.
I can’t wait to see you on stage one day lady love!
