Well, wasn’t the kid bold. One eyebrow rising, Bryza adjusted the sash around her waist and approached the boy — well, at least he finally stoppedrunning around when he addressed her.
“Shouldn’t you give your own name first, before asking something like that?” she said, her expression serious and maybe even a little cold as she stared the boy down. Those big, bright eyes and the carefree attitude… yeah, there was a lot of light in the kid, alright.
"-Uh," well sure but, "Not always, I mean you sorta just appeared out of nowhere." That gave him the right to question her name, and even, how she got here. One does not simple just show up on Destiny Islands, well, not for some time anyway.
"-Sora, I’m Sora," he stared at her a moment longer, "Now will you tell me whoyou are?”
...fair enough, Bryza thought, gaze sliding to the side briefly. Wasn't that something she would teach her pupils, too? And he was right -- she was a stranger in his world, so he had every right to be suspicious of her. Making a few small steps towards him, she extended her hand cautiously, remembering it to be a gesture well received all around... even if she wasn't particularly fond of it.
"Sora, huh? ...I'm Bryza." she said, eyes finally fixed on the boy's again "And I came from somewhere, I'll have you know. But... I don't really know where I wound up -- care to tell me what this place is...?"

Aqua blog looking for new people to RP with!
『 breezeofdarkness 』The dark corridor was gone as soon as it appeared, a young woman emerging from it with a small tap of her shoes on the ground. A new realm, and yet.. there was this familiar feeling all around as she stepped forward. A beach.. and a boy running all around, back and forth, like had way too much energy.
"Hey," he exclaimed, quickly taking notice of some girl starring at him and halting in his ‘training’, "Who are you?"
Well, wasn’t the kid bold. One eyebrow rising, Bryza adjusted the sash around her waist and approached the boy — well, at least he finally stopped running around when he addressed her.
“Shouldn’t you give your own name first, before asking something like that?” she said, her expression serious and maybe even a little cold as she stared the boy down. Those big, bright eyes and the carefree attitude… yeah, there was a lot of light in the kid, alright.
Okay, now Bryza’s confusion was really starting to worry Mayoi. She didn’t know about anything she was telling her? That didn’t make sense! Unless…
(Oh! She must be from another dimension. Of course! How come I didn’t notice it before? Her clothes, not knowing about common knowledge stuff, it all fits in the description! And here I was bothering her with my ramblings. She must hate me now…)
Mayoi was somewhat disheartened at that conclusion, until Bryza replied to her question and hand offering. Ah, so it wasn’t all lost! They could still be friends, if Mayoi remembered to take it slowly. Admitedly, the other’s grasp of her hand was a bit too strong, but Mayoi didn’t show it. She kept her trademarked cheer just the same.
"Ah, Bryza-san it is!" She was sure the woman wouldn’t really enjoy being called ‘-chan’ for now. "Er, sorry for my rambling later, I tend to get enthusiasmed when I meet someone new. If you want me to explain anything to you about this place, feel free to do so."
Despite Mayoi not showing it, Bryza was well aware just how firm her grip could get -- and so, soon she let go, her expression still stern and serious, despite the cheery and enthusiastic aura emanating from the other girl. Being called by her own name, though... it's been a while since that happened.
It was always 'Master' nowadays, and rarely did any of her students throw in her name as well, out of pure politeness and respect. At least while addressing her -- and really, it wouldn't be fair to expect any less of them.
"--whatever." she replied, finally, realizing that she'd been quiet this whole time. But 'explain about that place', huh? So did she somehow realize Bryza not to be from her realm? Perhaps not fully, but at least she knew not to spout all this nonsense at her anymore. She really could only take so much of this.
"There's too many things that would need explaining." the young Master cut the topic short, and really, she'd grown used to not entirely understanding the inner workings of all the worlds she visited. "But I guess... if you know anything about light and darkness, we might have ourselves a conversation."
The woman’s reaction towards Mayoi was definitely not what she was expecting. She’d seen people finding her garbs exotic or whatnot, but she had never seen someone so… distraught at seeing her. It made the medium feel a bit low, truth be told. She didn’t have the intention of making her feel like that…
Of course, she wouldn’t be Mayoi Ayasato if she let that observation pull her down. Oh noes! As quickly as her face had shrank at Bryza’s response, she quickly returned to her cheerful self. If she can’t help her with law, there must be something she can do, right?
"Are you confused by my vast knowledge of legal terms, miss? Don’t worry, I got confused too the first times Sis told me about the stuff she saw in college. So, if you’re not in need of any legal service, would you want at least some coffee, tea or cookies? I’m sure Naruhodo-kun won’t mind serving you!"
"Ah, I was almost forgetting!" She raised her finger as that etiquette rule came to her mind. "Here I am, talking all of this to you and I haven’t even presented myself. I’m Mayoi Ayasato, and you are…?" She offers her hand to the Keyblade Master.
Bryza was confused, alright, and by more than just that. The girl was talking a lot, for whatever reason -- they've only just met, and she was just going on and on... and none of it made any sense, and neither did the terms she was spouting. ...Well. She knew what tea and cookies were, but they weren't anything she would just sit down and have with strangers.
"...Look, I don't really know what you're talking about." she said, impatience rather apparent in her voice as she rolled her eyes a bit. At the hand outstretched to her, her eyebrow rose and her gaze slid down and up at the girl again. She may have appeared unphazed on the outside, but inwardly she was more than a little shaken. She'd forgotten the simplest acts of courtesy such as handshakes and polite greetings on the course of her journeys, and this girl -- Mayoi -- didn't hesitate for even a second.
Her fingers stiff at her sides, she chewed on her lip for a long, silent moment... before she sighed and spoke again.
"...Bryza." she said, her hand slowly -- very slowly -- rising to hold Mayoi's, her grip initially weak, but then it grew firm and steady. Perhaps too firm on the fragile fingers.
“คll the people crying from the loneliness in their hearts,
คll of the people lying that they will understand every part!
คll of the people truly think that love is a thing we take ภo one sees Ƭhat we ђaven’t seen it all.”
This was her means of training. Extending that voice, refining those chords, putting every bit of effort and energy into this piece to create something beautiful. However, the outside noise distorted that concentration. She couldn’t keep her focus on the feeling of her latest creation, so it all ceased. Reality settling back in and clouded eyes turned to the direction of the unfamiliar one approaching…
Bryza found herself pausing and listening to the song's lyrics. They... oddly struck a cord with her, especially the first verse she registered as she got a touch closer.
'People crying from the loneliness in their hearts', huh... she almost scoffed under her breath, each step closer towards the source of this -- admittedly, rather beautiful -- voice becoming smaller and more quiet, as if she didn't want to disrupt the song-- which soon stopped short.
"...don't mind me." she said easily, her voice almost a bit raspy compared to the other one's. ...the girl looked so fragile to the Keyblade wielder, but there was this odd feeling emanating from her, too.
Ah-- she'd almost tripped, there. The portal wasn't as stable as she had hoped it to be, and so the landing was a touch shaky. Her low heeled boots clicked on the stone as she walked, shaking off the last swirls of darkness off herself. The fabric of her sash fluttered gently in the wind -- that was precisely the reason she wore it this way. The sound and tugging was soothing, calming... exactly what she needed after venturing through a dark corridor.
Still... this realm was a new one. Bryza was certain of that, if only judging by the way the air smelled and felt there... she could tell it was different against her skin, and in how it tangled the strands of her hair. But there was... something else within the wind. An echo of a sound...
...was somebody singing?
Nor was what Mayoi expected when she opened the office’s door that morning. Just because she was thinking about going to that con next month and she had her hands full on making her Rei Aino outfit didn’t explain why a cosplayer for something she had no idea of was suddenly in front of the Naruhodou and Co. Law Offce. Well, she thought Bryza was a cosplayer, considering her outfit that made Mayoi’s medium garbs seem normal by comparison.
Unless… she was a client? Well, in that case there’d be no reason for her to complain. Weird clothing or not, Naruhodou and Co. Law Offices was always open to help those in need!
"Welcome to Naruhodou and Co. Law Office, miss!" Mayoi said cheerfully. "Are you in any need for any legal assistance?"
...there was a high chance Bryza had bumped her head on her way to that world. She must have -- she'd seen so many realms with a plethora of people, buildings and environments, and yet... this one was so different that she felt unease crawling under her skin. And the strangely clad young woman was not really helping. Tall, towering houses made of glass and stone, strange machines she knew nothing about and roads paved with what seemed like darkness itself... none of it fit with the image the girl before her was wearing.
"Uh--Law? Office? Legalwhatnow?" she replied 'eloquently', head tipping to the other side now as she looked the girl head to toe once again. This was weird... "I, uh-- doubt you can do anything for me." Clearly she took a wrong turn somewhere...
"The hell am I doing here?" Bryza almost whined, as soon as the last swirl of darkness faded, and she got a first good look around her surroundings. A low growl rumbled in the back of her throat when she pinched the bridge of her nose, more than just a little annoyed. This was not what she had planned...
