Parallels - Good Omens Seasons One & Two - Part One
Does it ever fuck you up that Supernatural went on for so long that Destiel fanfiction literally has eras. It has eras of popular stuff. Croatoan virus, Endverse, Casifer, fallen angels, Purgatory, Mark of Cain, demon Dean, Michael Dean, season 15 Fix-Its. And I'm likely glossing over so much more. Fanfiction written ten years ago for the same show feels so different to fanfiction written within the past two years.
If you are the sun, then I wanna be the moon
I wanna reflect the light that shines from you.

Happy November 5th !
Slow progress can feel non-existent, but it’s there! When you zoom out, you’ve come such a long way! 🐌
still going feral over this. crowley’s heartbreak. cas’ bewilderment. dean’s savagery. all of it.
Dean has the first murder weapon ever crafted and uses it like he’s on The Bachelor and giving out roses

My sister puts glasses away upside down.
Because our mother does,
Because her mother did,
Because her mother lived through the Dust Bowl.
One day my father sat me down and told me about epigenetics.
How the trauma he went through
As a child in an abusive home
Wrote itself into his DNA
And, in turn, into mine.
How he and his brothers,
In various ways,
Are all sick from it.
How I might be too, someday,
And I’m not sure I’m not.
I hear people say,
When will we get back to normal?
And I think of a woman born in the twenty-first century
Who puts her glasses away differently
Because of what her great-grandmother endured
Ninety years before.
I like to fuck around and waste time for at least ~6-10 hours per day, and let me tell you, that really puts some pressure on your schedule. you have no idea how busy I am
The Tinkerbell Effect refers to things that only exist because people believe in them- like taking a placebo pill and feeling better because you’ve convinced yourself it was real medicine.
There’s also a Reverse Tinkerbell Effect, where the more you believe in something the more it’s bound to vanish - like being so convinced it’s safe to drive that cars actually become more dangerous because your illusion of safety causes you to drive with less caution.
Having zero emotional object permanence is so funny your therapist asks how your week was and you're just like "girl I have no idea"
my cell phone: [starts to ring]
me: [looks at it in utter confusion]
me: "what are you doing???"
Writing Advice: it doesn’t matter if an idea has been done before. It’s never been done by you. So long as you do it well, and in your own way, it’s a wonderful contribution.

I came across a tumblr post about how Felicia Day said in an interview her least favorite episode to film was the one where she died. She detailed that while filming the scene in the bathroom she kept looking to the window and thought "Charlie could fit through that window."
She even measured it, but every time she tried to explain the various plot holes and how Charlie definitely could have made it, she was told "No, [Charlie] has to die."
So, I figured I'd just make a little comic to "fix" this plot hole and give us all a version where Charlie lives at the end.
