i watched squid game and absolutely loved it...until the last episode

the last episode was so disappointing and felt so cliche

i just finished reading sadie by courtney summers and it made me think a lot about the film promising young woman. mostly the ending of it so i’ll put this under a read more.

the more i think about midsommar the more i feel bad for christian

he was a bad boyfriend absolutely. him and dani should have broken up long ago.

however, he was a victim of the cult too (outside of being a literal victim)

he was targeted and drugged by the cult to be used by maja

this may be an unpopular opinion but i don’t think he would have cheated on dani if he hadn’t been manipulated and drugged by the cult. the cult used the cheating to finally break dani permanently and sway her to their side.

i’ve grown to have some sympathy for christian
