Starting weight=340 lbs, 2010 ; Current weight 180 lbs-2016. Total weight loss-160 lbs!

I began my weight loss journey by significantly changing my diet. I cut out all fast food and pop and made a point to lower my fat and sugar intake. I’m a food lover and even today I love to eat. I realized it’s not as hard to watch how much you eat but what you’re eating. I still crave cheeseburgers but if want a juicy burger I make it at home and pick a lean cut of meat. We have choices and food is a big part of our lives and I just made sure I didn’t keep crappy junky food in the house. It’s still a journey and I’m still going down the healthy road but I am proud of myself! I haven’t been on here in a while just because of the end of the school semester and then I was quick to start my job. But, maybe coming back on here will help get me more motivated as I finally start to see changes in myself. Everyone says weight loss is easy, but it’s the hardest challenge I’ve encountered throughout my life and I’m finally ready to beat the challenge. All of the photos on the left are before pictures, at my highest weight of around 255-260. Right now, I currently weigh in at 239. I’m struggling to not step on the scale everyday. But, now that I put these photos side by side, I can see that I am changing. Maybe it’s hard to tell in the top photos. But, in my outfit, that’s the same exact t-shirt. And my face is also thinning out and that’s making me feel great. I am obviously no where near my goal of a healthy weight, but, I am getting there and this is only the beginning.
