What frustrates me with being an "out of sight, out of mind" person is that people tend to love suggesting notepads, diaries, apps, lists, anything that you can write reminders in. But my kind of "out of sight, out of mind" extends to that as well. Truly. If it is not in my sight, it is not in my mind. And you know what happens when you close a book or an app? It is not longer in sight.

i'm barely out of bg3's second act on my first playthrough but like. even i can tell that larian reduced act 2 and the shadowlands. there was so much potential there and it's clear that something is.... simply put, something is just missing. i wish there was more background on the characters from there as well as more history into ketheric's whole thing with various gods. so much is unexplained and it's miserable because that's one of the most interesting and beautiful areas in the game. [slight vague spoilers in tags fyi!]

#i made this as spoiler free as possible#also when i say history: i mean halsin and isobel. i want history for them. i wanna know how [redacted] died and how it all ties together#rhimorse and rhigret#ive seen theories that the thorms are deadly sins which is... not rly smth i believe but there definitely feels like there should be more#like oh yeah the only ppl holding the town together are the barkeep#the doctor of the massive sketchy hospital and the tollkeeper? nah there was more it just didnt get released#idek at this point but i needed to discuss this after thinking it for so long or i was gonna combust

I am slowly losing my mind over the shift towards video as the default media format.

I do not find this to be an efficient way to absorb information. I am bored and distracted by the time the largely unnecessary introduction is over. I can't use ctrl+f to find the specific information I'm looking for. If there are instructions to follow, I don't want to have to constantly pause and back up to the part I need.

At least give me a fucking transcript.
