breaking bad sentence meme

  • “Let me tell you something. We flipped a coin. Coin flip is sacred.”
  • “Do I really have to call you that? No offense but, don’t you have a real name?”
  • “You keep telling me that I don’t have it in me. Well maybe, or maybe not.”
  • “I sure as hell am looking for any reason not to.”
  • “Sell me. Tell me what it is.”
  • “What’s best for both parties is that we forget all about it.”
  • “You know that anyone in my situation would make promises like that. In my case they happen to be true, but you never know for sure.”
  • “Not a conversation that I’m even remotely ready to have.”
  • “Hell, I’ll write you a check right now if you let me go.”
  • “If this line of work doesn’t suit you, get out before it’s too late.”
  • “Accidentally start a fire and everyone FOs?”
  • “Your breath can knock a buzzard off a shit wagon.”
  • “Way smarter than your average cheese-eater.”
  • “I really didn’t mean for him to find out that way.”
  • “This goes without saying but, whatever happens, I want you to know: I’ll always take care of your family.”
  • “Money is not the issue here.”
  • “That’s what you think we need, debrief?”
  • “I just don’t want emotions ruling us.”
  • “Then why don’t you just fucking die already? Just give up and die.”
  • “Let’s face it, you were dealt a shit hand.”
  • “Why in hell would you do this?”
  • “All right, I’ve got the talking pillow now.”
  • “What I want, what I need, is a choice.”
  • “Then make the right choice. You are not the only one it affects.”
  • “And that’s how you would remember me. That’s the worst part.”
  • “This operation is you and me, and I’m the silent partner.”
  • “No matter what happens, no more bloodshed. No violence.”
  • “It’s just sometimes it feels better not to talk at all – about anything, to anyone.”
  • “Damn, chick’s got an ass like an onion. Makes me wanna cry.”
  • “My question is: do any of the little pissants know where you keep them?”
  • “Shit, don’t ignore it on my account.”
  • “You gotta keep better watch over your turf.”
  • “We don’t want people to start wondering about you, right?”
  • “You’ve been keeping it real since you been sprung.”
  • “Tough shit, the deal is done.”
  • “I don’t need your punk ass to vouch for me.”

I want to remind every roleplayer of a few things that we tend to forget far too often.

  • You don’t have to have good edits to be a good roleplayer.
  • You don’t have to have small font to be a good roleplayer.
  • You don’t have to do quick replies to be a good roleplayer.
  • You don’t have to impress everyone and be popular to be a good roleplayer.
  • You don’t have to be multi-ship or single-ship to be a good roleplayer.

DO NOT ROLEPLAY TO IMPRESS.

Roleplay to be happy and write for your love of the character and for your love of writing. In fandoms, you get caught up in popularity and quality. Quality doesn’t come with fancy themes, fonts, paragraphs, words, edits, etc, etc.

It comes with your personality as the mun, your appreciation for the character, your love for your followers and your friendliness as a fellow roleplay partner. So, next time you feel the urge to bow to someone else for their ‘quality,’ just take a moment and think about what you’re doing. You’re just as good as they are.

You have your own style. You have your own way. I love you just as much as I love the ‘quality’ roleplayers, and your most loyal and loving followers will feel the same way. Do your best at all times and that’s all that matters!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, EVERYONE!

blades crash! into one another in a FLURRY of sparks, both desperate to win the test of brute strength & skill. it’s his first ( sparring ) match against a student from one of the other visiting schools, & he’s gotta say        he’s in way over his head. he may have been able to take pyrrha off guard a handful of times during his training - a feat he was extremely proud of - but a javelin capable of firing bullets was one thing, but dual blades? yikes. he could barely even keep up.
with a grunt, he manages to FORCE the two of them a - p - a - r - t again       like caged lions, they pace & evaluate one another with calculating stares. but, with his inexperience ( despite his best efforts to fill the gaps between him & his classmates ) there was no way that he would be able to last a full minute in the ring with zuko. he just wasn’t used to two blades coming at him at once. especially not at high speed.
but that didn’t mean he couldn’t try. who knows? maybe he did stand a chance.                                                                                           … maybe.

Arms spread apart, he lashed through into open angles until bringing his strokes into circular motions, rapidly overlaying the length of his arms. A flash of steel, as it were. He did not overexert his muscles ---- the two halves were lighter than the steel of a single broadsword, for indeed they were intentionally allocated to either spectrum. ‘Twas a matter of balance, and while the dual-wield did not offer any other advantage than the obvious ( one clashes and the other strikes, deadlier still than the combination of shield and arm ), it demanded speed, and the skill to utilise such speed.

The practiced swordsman spread out his footfalls, inclining one leg outward and descending to accommodate the shift, before striking at full length at the adversary’s sides. A clash of metal could be heard, and a second blade followed thereafter. Accompanying one moiety of his broadsword, he retracted the object at the last moment, heaving his shoulder to hammer into his opponent. The blow had been enough to disorient, and knock his challenger to the floor.

image

He had won, clean and simple, and his victory meant little. He said nothing as he relaxed his position, mulling over his first impression of the school -- a poor one, at that. He was trying, he could give him that much -- after a moment of hesitation, he offered a hand to help him back up. Despite his semblance, the gesture was only tepid.

M Y T H O L O G Y : D R A G O N S
Dragons are awe-inspiring patchwork creatures found in the myths and legends of cultures all around the world.
In Europe, they are nightmarish fire-spewing reptiles, large and lizard-like, with the forked tongue of a snake and wings like a bat. In the legends, they are reviled and feared because they liked to imprison maidens, destroy villages and hoard over mountains of gold.
In the ancient cultures of Mexico and South America, a divine feathered serpent known by various names was believed to renew the world after each cycle of destruction.
In China, dragons are amphibious creatures that dwell in oceans, lakes, rivers and even raindrops. They are revered as life-giving symbols of fortune and fertility, capable of unleashing rain in times of drought. They are animal mosaics, possessing the body of a snake, the scales of a fish, the talons of an eagle, the antlers of a stag, and the face of a gilin–another mythical creature that resembles a deer but whose body is wreathed in flames.

He had, ah, heard of this new Agent quite quickly. The way these Southerners either edge away from the topic of those native to Tevinter or, as in this case, speak it quite plainly with enough of an edge that he could use it to cut up the herbs he used in his alchemy experiments was so incredibly darling. It was charming, in that annoying, pesky, exasperating way. Rumors flourish within Skyhold’s walls and thoughts are hard to conceal, what with gossiping Sisters and a Spirit with benign intentions. It is what draws him close, his features schooled in a pleasant way, and his smile blooming like the extravagant flowers that the Inquisitor allowed Josephine to have planted in the garden. This was not what he expected, if he was to be honest, but it mattered little. He was raised to be terribly polite, and he remains so, despite some wishes otherwise; he focuses on the right side of the mage’s face.
image
“Ah, well, you know how it is; too many of our ‘peers’ are being complete idiots and partaking in a cult. It does tend to reduce the amount of potential recruits the Inquisition could call upon.” He feigns jolliness, easing his way into a casual conversation that does not seem to come easily from the other’s lips, and stays there. He would not be shaken off so easily, by any means. “Oh? I would not have placed you as such; your accent, you see.” He’s lying, but that is to be expect; he’s an Altus. “Did you study at the Circle there? Or did you study at one of the more remote Circles?” He doesn’t ever remembering seeing the other at Minrathous’ Circle, but then again, he had religiously put his nose to books while studying at the Circle. He hadn’t had much time for his peers, which is both laughable and pathetic, mostly in the fact he had once considered them peers. “Nevertheless; I find it comforting to have another from home, stranger or otherwise, here in Skyhold. The last Tevinter to come this far, with sense in his skull, ah— did not make it.”

If it hadn’t clicked before, it certainly did now. Here before him was an Altus, in the flesh. A position, a title, a legacy he had occupied not too long ago ; one savagely ripped away from him, as had been the structure of his visage, and wisps of his sight. How alarmed, and how unimpressed he was by the feigned ignorance and condescension of the mage. Zuko had not thought to conceal his accent, only strung together words of speech that would befit a commoner ; there was no suspicion as to him being otherwise. He had espied this man a fair number of times, he recalls, when compelled to flank his father to balls of great importance. Azula’s preening was enough to suck in attention for two, though it did not make him quite the shadow he would have hoped. Once he might have placed the house name instantly, yet now he wouldn’t even consider it – that was not his life now.

For all he knew, he was in the presence of a great practicer of blood magic himself -- blood magic his uncle had instructed him sparsely, and cautiously, with. No magic was corrupt by nature, he was told, it was its wielder that made it so.

His father, or what he had known to be his father, had blessed him with one advantage. With such injury, nobody would stare for too long at his countenance, sparing him the chance of recognition. Certainly not an Altus, one he assumed to be of great elegance – why linger on such unpleasant sights?

❛ A remote Circle, yes. He means to end this portion of the discussion hastily -- if his semblable would not desist, then the conversation would have to be led elsewhere. My condolences. I trust he did some good to our Nation’s name.

Love his Nation he must, he did, his intentions were by no means at their service. What good was it to speak, to remember, to hope for more, in a land he was no longer welcome? The threat coiled around his throat like a snake, constricting him, depriving his lungs of air. There was no place for him there any longer, or so he must believe.

❛ Yes, you must be desperate. Had we been in Tevinter, you wouldn’t have looked at me twice. The apprehension, the confusion, the danger appeared to vanish to give way for something more, though his mien was still reticent. He could not place the exact source of his bitterness. If they had met in Tevinter, it would be under the guise of false smiles, and modest compliments. Perhaps it was all that the man represented that riled him up so. All that he had lost. First his magic, and for a time, he was forced to bear the shame as the sole rogue of a most high-esteemed family. Then his mother, without a trace, or a single farewell. Finally, his blood, his title, his right to live had all been stripped away from him, until he was left with nothing but what he himself could muster, and cast away into the wilderness. Yes, he had every reason to be bitter, resentful, even it was delivered under false accusations.
