Maternity kits, medical threads and scissors, water testing kits, anesthetics, mobile desalination units, etc do you see the pattern? Israel is not only starving the people of Gaza but it also wants to ensure the spread of disease through contaminated water and surgical tools, as well as ensuring injured Palestinians suffer through horrendous pain.

It's beyond sickening.

as you see the inhuman list of items banned from entry into gaza, you should be keenly aware the partner in israel's murder-suicide pact, the united states, has had an embargo on cuba (effectively doing the same to iran with sanctions too btw) for decades that includes medical supplies.

none of this was lifted for covid 19. both our cruel, barbaric countries will deny the absolute bare necessities for our genocidal economic projects

The Pocketbook of Love  Mouna Kalla-Sacranie (2016)

This is a handmade, hand-bound, handbook, made with the intention of capturing the essence of what love - in all its many forms - can feel like. The idea for this handbook came to me a few months ago, when I came across this post in which by poet/writer Naveed Khan ( @navk ) was asked to describe love - without using the word loveI was so moved after reading his descriptions, I felt compelled to ask him if he would allow me to illustrate his words. He said yes, and so the Pocketbook of Love was born.

He broke his definition of love into the following six pairs which constitute the ‘chapters’ of this book:
1. warmth and luminescence 2. comfort and compassion 3. trust and empathy 4. support and security 5. passion and affection 6. nostalgia and longing.
