I am so intrigued by it I have spent time learning about it and I read the comics off and on.

There are actually 18 tribes untied to make up Wakanda’s nation.

Many if the tribes are based in a religious belief like Panther Cult who worship Bast. Lion Cult who worship Sekhmet. White Gorilla Cult who formally worshiped Ngi became the Jabari. Currently they worship Ghekre. The remainder of the tribes are identified by their regional identity.

The name of the “Golden City” is Birnin Zana.

Headcanon that once relations between Wakanda and Talokan are less strained and Namor's presence at alliance meetings or generally at court has become an habit, he starts noticing this random dude named Bucky who apparently he's a super human a century's old who just keeps showing up announced to visit and hang out and that everyone is usually glad to see, most of all Shuri, and Namor is so annoyed because they seem too friendly with each other and he starts being super creative in his mind about the many ways he could make his death look like an accident because he saw him once make Shuri laugh and that was the end of any sort of attempts of diplomacy for him

Bonus points if Bucky has no clue about what is going on and no energy to investigate, thinks Namor he's not that much weirder than the people he has to deal with every day of his life, except he is occasionally creeped out whenever he catches him glaring daggers at him especially when he is around Shuri maybe he should ask her what's the deal with h... oh-

Double bonus points if everyone realized what is actually going on but no one moves a finger to interfere or correct him because Namor might be an ally but fucking with him is as good as an opportunity as it gets (also there is a bet going around on how long will it take him to finally snap and attempting to drown Bucky for merely even breathing in Shuri's direction, bet that Namora and Attuma joined in at some point)

Okay but Bucky got the title of White Wolf. Essentially he is considered a Blood brother of T'Challa and Shuri/the royal family. Like it is one of the highest Honors to reach. So like, Namor not only has see Shuri like him. Every other person in Wakanda either loves him or has respect for his title. AND Namor has to give him respect due to him helping Shuri rule.

Shuri originally assisted T'Challa and her mother, with Technology and I imagine diplomacy between the tribes. (Shuri had to be active in some way on the political radar to be known well enough for her to be recognized as a leader pushing Wakanda into the future. So like, there had to be some duties regulated to her that now would be given to Toussaint or Bucky. (Unless the royal family adopts someone from the major tribes)

So Namor is just so mad having to see Bucky Constantly at any traditional Wakandian event. If Shuri's not there, she 100% checks security tapes to see Namors two hour pouting and snippy behavior. Or getting so mad, steam is coming off his skin as he angrily leaves once the event is over.

Namor eventually confronting Bucky. (Early in morning at Buckys hut near the farmland that's further away Incase of Bucky's nightmares. So Namor is confident there would be no witnesses)

*scrambling fight inside the hut. Bucky has advantages of close combat and Namor not realizing Bucky isn't sleeping. Resulting in Namor in a robot arm headlock.

"Why the visit Lord Namor?" Bucky being a snarky shit

"To stop your plans!"

"I have plans?"

"Yes! To crawl your way into Princess Shuri's heart and her bed and seize power as a prince consort." Namor is getting madder by the second. Bucky looks like he's about to vomit. And just YEETS Namor across the hut.

"Are you drugged? Drunk? What the hell is wrong with you!"

Turned to the chapter about titles and ranks within Wakandian society.

"The White Wolf, a more recent title compared to the Black Panther, is almost as recognizable. It has rarely been given , as it recognizes the person as a full bloodbrother to the king. A individuals respect and loyalty to Wakanda must be proven beyond question. As well as earn the respect of our people. Historically given to outsiders that have one way or another been adopted by a Wakandian official. As they were motivated to do whatever is needed to protect their new home.

Which brings us to the main purpose of the White Wolf. Traditionally their role is to oversea the protection of Wakandian War dogs. Figuratively protecting their "pack" as well as protecting Wakanda from external threats. But on occasion, they are kept at home as personal bodyguard, advisor, or if needed the enforcer of the king. (The latter only in the context of succession disputes with candidates who refuse to accept their loss)

It is a lifelong position and title. More often then not, the White Wolf will stay on as a advisor after the death of their king and blood brother. As they have emotionally Bonded with multiple generations of the family. And is often seen as a uncle or brother to most within it."

*The more Namor read, the tighter the knot in his stomach became. He managed to crawl out of his own grave regarding his relationship with Shuri after the conflict. And he's just realized he's somehow thrown himself into a ditch by attacking one of Wakandas most loyal sons and her blood brother.
