            "Are you quite alright, mortal?"      A mix of confusion and mild amusement      washed Thor's face as she examined the      masked man. It seemed like quite the      dilemma to be having.           "Perhaps if you crush the button it            will work?"      Lithe fingers moved towards the handle of      Mjolnir questioningly.

"Somebody put two fire extinguishers in my lab and labeled one ‘for emergencies’ and the other ‘use this one to hit people’. It’s not funny."

"Right, and I’m the Ghost Rider." He said sarcastically, raising a brow at her, "Seriously who’re you?" He rested a hand on his knife at his side. Probably wouldn’t do much good against that giant fucking hammer on her hip but it was all he had right now.

     Thor heaved a sigh as a hand went to grasp      the handle of her weapon. Pulling the great      hammer from it's spot on her belt and holding      tight to the loop of leather at the end of the      handle, she began to lazily spin it. For a moment      the air crackled with electricity before visible      lightening began appearing about the hammer.             "I am Thor."

"Shhhit.. Yeah you, Xena." He reached out and took her hand, letting her help him up as he looked her up and down. He’d been minding his own business when that bean of whatever-the-fuck-it-was knocked him flat on his ass, "What the hell’re you?"

     Helping him up with a bright smile, it      fell but slightly in confusion. Xena? That      was not her name at all. Although it      would make sense if the bifrost had made      him fall.             "That is not my name. I am              Thor, goddess of thunder and              princess of Asgard! Who may              you be?"

It was a second before Jax could regain himself, a bright shock and a whirlwind of color had knocked him back on his ass, blinding him and sending his ears ringing. But once he had regained his senses what he saw in front of him wasn’t a scorched crater.

"Woah…." Was all he could manage to get out as he looked at the woman before him. She was tall, blonde and a hell of a bombshell, literally, she looked like if you stepped on her the wrong way she might take a limb or two.

     Stormy blue eyes squinted against the bright      Midgardian day as the light of the bifrost dissipated      away to reveal nothing but sunlight. Sunlight in      what Thor was near certain was not the city of      New York, where she had meant to land. Contemplating      what she was and why it was not where she was      meant to be, the warrior noticed someone on the      ground.      A look of surprise and mild amusement quirked her      lips up and she stepped towards the man, offering      him a hand in an effort to get him off the ground.             "Greetings, mortal. Is there a specific              reason as to you being on the ground?"

            "Small they may be, but my              warriors are quite skilled with              such weapons. They can prove              very dangerous in battle."      While skilled with blades such as      swords and knives, she too preferred      her hammer. That being said, Thor      would not underestimate the weapons.      One could wreck quite a bit of havoc      with them, should they wish to do so.
