“It was easier when I was angry,” Ben said, like he’d just discovered something important. “I’ll do better one day—I’ll be stronger than Uncle Luke, even, and I’ll be able to do even more.”
“Sure thing, buddy,” Poe said cheerfully, ignoring Ben’s hiss at the hated nickname, a reminder that Ben may be taller now, but Poe was still older. “Let me know when you can stop blaster fire with your mind and I’ll be real impressed.”
“I’ll stop more than that,” Ben promised.

I love chill roleplay partners that don’t mind when you go mia for a while and totally understand that some weeks you’re just busy and some days you’re not even busy you just don’t want to deal with the world in general/don’t want to do a thing and who don’t think that just bc you haven’t talked in a week or two that means the plot is dead and who don’t need to be in daily contact with you to enjoy writing/talking/plotting with you and I love that when we finally have so time time to talk/rp we just pick up right where we left off and it’s never weird or awkward God bless u guys

I bet Poe remembers everything about Ben. All his favorite foods and drinks and how he looks when he falls asleep reading. And how to calm him down during an episode. Maybe he tells people stories about Ben and how amazing he was and how his first kiss was perfect and beautiful but when they ask where Ben is now he just kind of starts to tear up.

psa. i am an agonizingly slow roleplayer – my muses are fickle and some days all i can manage is chat threads or shenanigans. other days i can pump out longer threads like no one’s business. if it takes me awhile on your thread it has nothing to do with you as a writer or me losing my muse for the thread. never hesitate to ask for my skype for in between threads for chatting and plotting and fun.

Luke looks at his father’s mechanical hand, then to his own mechanical, black-gloved hand, and realizes how much he is BECOMING like his father. He makes the decision for which he has spent a lifetime in preparation. Luke steps back and hurls his lightsaber away.

LUKE Never! I’ll never turn to the dark side. You’ve failed, Your Highness. I am a Jedi,
