OK SO TODAY AT WONDER CON THE MOST AMAZING THING HAPPENED!

I was taking pictures of my friend who was dressed as Mettaton EX when this father and daughter came up to our group asking to take a picture with me since I was Dipper. (This had been happening all day since GF is a kids show and all so I thought nothing of it.)

Only for the father to tell me afterwards she was Amory Watterson the voice actor of young Wendy in which i proceeded to FREAK OUT and shut down mentally. (I’m pretty sure I asked him to repeat himself more than once to process it.)

Luckily I had enough thought process to get her to sign my journal and make sure to give her dad my card so I could have the picture sent to me.

Honestly this is the most uplifting thing to happen all con and I’m SO HAPPY FOR THIS. She was an adorably sweet girl. Really polite and everything.

I know I haven’t really been on because of real life and another blog And my plan is to get to this blog ASAP but-- THIS THIS RIGHT HERE HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND AND I THINK I DIED INSIDE A LITTLE BIT!

Wow! I can’t believe I got to this number of people who’d be willing to read my attempts at roleplaying, especially after only about a year or so of doing this! Thanks so much to my lovely followers, you really are all the best and I shall embarass/flatter a few of you now by naming some of my favourite people.

@everxwatchingxeye/ @wanderingxworryxwirt- A wonderful person who’s theories and headcanons of Bill being an unspeakable Eldritch abomination have been pretty much been borne out in the series, despite the amount of cutesy Bill RP accounts on here that have tried to push the opposite side. My threads with them probably account for a good half of everything I do on here, and with good reason given their excellent writing and characterisation, wonderful fan art, and the fact they seem to be having fun doing it!

@somniaxperdita People don’t realise how hard it is to make a good original character. I mean, sure, any one can think up one but it’s likely going to be a by-the-numbers Mary Sue. That’s why the character of Olivia is so amazing to me. Well fleshed out, a good backstory, (where so often the go-to is to just give them a tragic past) the perfect foil and companion to Stan both in his young and wild days and now that he’s settled down in Gravity Falls. She exists on her own merits as well, smart and mysterious and that’s why I like this account so much!

@ask-dipper-pines-stuff Love this blog so much. Such a nice person to interact with, and they’ve got the character of Dipper down perfectly, capturing both his dorky innocent side and the determination and ferocity to protect his family and those close to him no matter what the cost. I need to thread with this person morrrrrreeee!

@callmehotpants Eurgh  what is with me I am the literal worst for not posting more stuff this account’s way given I am still such Starla trash (the fire still burns deep within I tell you) and the fact I threaded so much with this account a few months back. ANYWAY, long story short, Carla McCorkle is a character who needs more attention, both from the fandom and the show. And this account is the beacon that keeps her character going on Tumblr. Just an A+++++ characterisation which makes every thread and interaction a joy to have, so much fun.  

@primxmvivere Soos also is a character that needs more lovin’ from the fandom and this is the blog of choice that characterises him the best. They’re the kinda person who just *gets* what Soos would say or react to something. Helps as well that the mun is just an all round super person and a great friend.

Last but by no means least I’d like to get a mention in for @wirt-otgw as well! They get the award for the favourite of all my long-running threads, where we’re deep in the midst of some kinda epic saga where Stan navigates the Unknown with Wirt as his spirit guide. I’m loving this thread to bits.
