do YOU want a random stash of sprite bases, all credited, some now inaccessible on the web due to defunct accounts, to use for sprite work? yeah? well do i have a treat for you! i've been collecting bases for YEARS and ensured i knew where each of them came from if i wanted to post the sprites i made! i believe all of these are allowed to be shared freely (i'll be double checking, of course. don't want to be rude!), and i'd love to share them around ^v^ a number of these creators are still making bases (especially deepseahorror, who does INCREDIBLE work!), so i'll be updating as i gather more!

If you live in the USA and you're pleading for donations to pay your rent, bills, or get food then dial 211! Please dial 211 before the last minute!
It's a toll free service with people who will help you find programs in your community to pay those bills, find food, and find housing! They will give you numbers to call so you can get help.
It is not 100% foolproof. Their job is to direct you to a program they believe will help your current issue, but it's still a step up from praying random strangers online will give you enough cash before a deadline! The added benefit of these community programs, which get funded by the local government most of the time, is if there are more people using them then they can get more money to help more people.
You're not taking resources from other people if you use your community services. Your taxes pay for them. Use them.
Dial 211 first to see if they can help, and if for some reason they can't, then make your donation posts!

Hi I work for my state's 211 service. It really breaks my heart how many people only know to call us at the last minute. 211's can provide a whole wealth of resources to use before things ever get to a cut off utility, eviction, or homelessness!
I can't speak for all 211's but most should also have a website detailing all the agencies in their database. if you don't like phone calls, this can be something to reference instead.
If you don't have health insurance but you need to see a doctor, reference 211! We list clinics that provide free or discounted general care, vision, and dental services to low income households and people without insurance! Many hospitals also have financial aid policies that can severely reduce your bill if you had an expensive procedure!
If you're stuck in a dead end job or need educational resources reference 211! There are a lot of programs focused on providing basic adult education as well as trade skills or other high demand fields! State governments are generally more interested in funneling people into work than providing benefits, but you can still use this to your advantage especially if you have some form of disability but are still able to work. That includes if you're neurodiverse or have mental health issues! Most of these programs are extremely underutilized.
If you believe you qualify for public benefits but the bureaucracy of the process is in your way, reference 211! There are agencies specifically geared towards helping people obtain the benefits they qualify for- for free!

I had no idea what 211 was before working for it but I wish I had. I've learned so much about what resources are actually available to the community even in a ho hum area of the country like my state. I've saved my partner literally thousands of dollars just from the medical resources I've gathered.
Not enough young people know about or utilize these services but they are there for you!
P. S.
This isn't an intended use of 211, but I like to reference the agency listings when I look for jobs. Many of the agencies listed are non-profits which, while they certainly are not perfect, generally have lower barriers of entry to decent paying jobs with benefits. The work environments tend to be much kinder and at least pretend to be forward thinking. You're more likely to find jobs without as many people applying as well, especially if they're only advertising their positions through their own website.

For everyone’s needs. Because somehow there isn’t already one (that I know of) and that’s ridiculous.
Simply ridiculous.
This list is mainly focused on lower blood vocab as well, since in cases where high blood and low blood vocab differs, high blood vocab tends to be just straight English(ablution trap vs. bathtub).
If you see a word that you know that is missing, add it and a definition, if a solid definition is known. If it’s a more vague term that does not have a known canon meaning (for example: nook), then simply leave it as a term, and maybe give a context (Nook: Body part, perhaps sexual).
Also, please. Only canon vocab. Don’t add your own personal terms. Make sure what you add was actually in the comic, please.
Also, if you have a link to where it is used handy, by all means! Link to it so people can see it used in context.
So there you go! Circulate it, and when a good list gets going, I can post it to my livejournal so that there is a solid link that people can go to.

- Cavalreapers: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades. Weapon: lances. The Summoner rose up through the ranks of the Cavalreapers, assuming command of the army, which would lead a rebellion. Tavros one day hopes to be recruited as a Cavalreaper and practices his jousting just in case.
- Ruffiannihilators: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades. A STRONG and honorable class.
- Archeradicators: one of the most noble echelon the imperial forces have to offer, according to Equius. Weapon: bows and arrows.
- Subjugglators: exceptionally brutal enforcers of the hemospectrum in troll society to whom the Empress delegated oppression. One of the highest castes, as even bluebloods are beneath them. Gamzee is a descendant of one of the high subjugglators, the Grand Highblood.
- Legislacerators: prosecuting attornies who conduct investigations and seek to bring evil-doers to justice, which is brought about by executing them by hanging. Redglare was a legislacerator who was hung by her own noose, intended for Mindfang.
- Gamblignants: deadly marauders of ancient times with a passion for chance. They all died off because they took too many risks, however.

- Trollbraille: Braille, which Terezi says she has no use for, because she can smell and taste words

- Grubloaf: food that is presumably similar to a regular loaf of bread, as it has been described as “fresh” and “leavened.”
- Grubtube: the troll equivalent of Youtube, according to Vriska
- Game Grub: a magazine that is the troll version of Game Bro

Malwen is an anarchist at heart, ready to rebel against everything from the Empire to wearing shirts. Tell him what to do and he’ll do the opposite, or maybe not. He does what he pleases. Usually slowly.
He uses his own blood to paint his sign on his chest as a silent ‘fuck you’ to everyone who tells him he has to wear it.
If you gain his loyalty, he will die for you. If you gain his disdain, he will end you. He is a very ride or die person and very protective over what he holds dear. He comes off as less intense though, mostly due to how he takes forever to do anything, even speak. This is represented by the “...”s he is literally talking at a snail’s pace.

Re-Introducing my Trolls: Day 1: Vietta Manzon
“Greetings! My name is Vietta Manzon. It is a pleasure to meet you all”
“Though I must admit I am at a loss for what to say. It is not often that I speak of myself much less only of myself. Hm. Well, I like reading and studying insects. I have a vast library at my disposal left to me by my ancestor. She was a great prophet and I do hope to live up to her legacy when I am grown.
“She inspired trolls to do so much good in hopes of a better tomorrow. I do not know if I will be the descendant of which she foretold in her prophesies, but I will never the less try to make her proud!
“I unfortunately cannot divulge the secrets of the prophecy. I would love to share the good word, but it would not be taken well outside of quieter circles and, well, let us just say it is a secret.”

Despite being only 4 sweeps old, Vietta is very smart, likely due to all the books she is constantly reading. Her love for books has come at a cost to her social prowess, however, and she is extremely polite but socially awkward around other trolls.
Vietta is a small troll, and probably won’t grow to be much more than 3 feet tall (if her ancestor is anything to go by). Partially due to her pacifistic nature, she is not good at fighting especially against trolls that are much larger than herself (aka almost everyone).
However, Vietta has some kick ass psionics. She has a mastery over illusions that she can project into other’s minds. It isn’t physically damaging in of itself but she’s clever enough to know how to use them. and physical damage isn’t the only damage one needs to be worried about. However, she is a pacifist and would never inflict trauma on purpose.
Personality wise, Vietta is a little ray of sunshine. She believes in and sees the good in everyone. She hasn’t had an easy life (She is a rustblood after all), but every obstacle only makes her more determined to make the world a better place.
