Hey all!
I’ve been making notebooks, journals, and planners based off my own photos (and a maremma from Canva bc my dog can only sit still for so long 🤣) and I’m really proud of the stuff I’ve put out.
Thanks for checking it out ❤️

from posts I’ve witnessed (only mentioning things I’ve seen >5 blogs post about) - there is an Anchovies scene, and fish symbolism also plays a heavy role. at some point Katya is seen near a fish bowl full of goldfish, and this is important to the Boat Scene as well. - Goncharov and Andrey have homoerotic tension, and this is used to further statements about the cycle of repression and violence
So I am treating myself to a day at Dashcon. Thing is I can only go one day and both Friday/Saturday have really cool things planned. Which day should I go? Please help me out.
Saturday has a ball pit and meet-ups soooooooo. ;D
Oh. Damn it. Sorry- just step over her too.
Ah, sorry. Excuse me. My cat needs to take a nap on your dash a moment. Just step over him.
Americans: If anybody is telling you not to vote or to not vote Democrat on tumblr in the next few weeks, just assume they’re bots trying to throw the election.
I remember I made a Go Vote! post during the last election, and it had about a thousand comments from well-established blogs telling me my post was “stupid centrist bullshit” or “the typical Democrat response - you can’t fight fascism just by voting.” When the list of Russian bots was revealed, I discovered 90%+ of those comments were from election interference bots. They looked and spoke like real users and made compelling points, but they were trying to ensure the far-right would take the election.
The chances are fairly high that tumblr will again be infiltrated by people trying to throw the election. I’m sure this time it will look like a lot of “I went and voted but we still got Biden” or “Biden secretly changed the student debt relief plan! He’s no better than the GOP!” (incidentally: this is not true, or at least it’s a VERY poor framing of what happened).
Even if the person saying that kind of stuff isn’t a bot, they may be consuming and spreading interference propaganda.
Stay vigilant, check sources, don’t believe the framing of issues by random tumblr blogs, and again: register to vote
The worst people you know are definitely going to vote so you should too.

Previously, parents were told SIDS could be prevented if they took proper precautions: laying babies on their backs, not letting them overheat and keeping all toys and blankets out of the crib were a few of the most important preventative steps. So, when SIDS still occurred, parents were left with immense guilt, wondering if they could have prevented their baby’s death.
Dr. Carmel Harrington, the lead researcher for the study, was one of these parents. Her son unexpectedly and suddenly died as an infant 29 years ago. (...) Harrington explained what she was told about the cause of her child’s death.
"Nobody could tell me. They just said it's a tragedy. But it was a tragedy that didn't sit well with my scientific brain.”
Since then, she’s worked to find the cause of SIDS, both for herself and for the medical community as a whole. She went on to explain why this discovery is so important for parents whose babies suffered from SIDS.
"These families can now live with the knowledge that this was not their fault," she said.
(...) As the cause is now known, researchers can turn their attention to a solution. In the next few years, those in the medical community who have studied SIDS will likely work on a screening test to identify babies who are at risk for SIDS and hopefully prevent it altogether.
What a year this week has been.
It’s Monday.
It sure as hell is.
The earlier in the day Monday you reblog the funnier this gets
