dean imitating your muse

Dean probably should not have done this, but the man had very little of a filter, and with Z around, there was even less of a filter going on. He stood there, with a confused look on his face before flopping onto the bed, maybe a bit too close to Azrael, and getting right up in her face. “You mean something, but you make no sense.”

Avatar

Azrael stared at him as he imitated her, eyebrows lifted slightly. When he was close to her, she didn’t move away, letting him be altogether too close. “Very funny,” she said, smiling a little. “I don’t think you’ve got it quite right, though.” She stuck her tongue out at him, giggling. “Although the part about making no sense sounds about right, when I’m with you.”

He wasn’t giving up the act yet, no way. He leaned forward, looking at her with a confused look on his face, biting back his laughter as he heard her response, “No, Z, it’s you that make no sense. I make perfect sense!” He exclaimed, rolling over so that he was facing the ceiling (still way too close to her). “I think I’ve got it perfectly right! What was wrong?”

She giggled, shaking her head. "You're almost there. I think you need more esoteric phrasing, and misunderstanding of colloquialisms." She poked him in the side a little. "And more... I think someone called it 'wide-eyed innocence?' That sort of thing." She rolled onto her back, elbow landing on his chest. "But you did well!"

"How do I look?"

Put “How do I look?” in my ask for my character’s reaction to your muse appearing in a elegant dress or fancy tux

"Z, why are you wearing a dress?" Dean couldn’t seem to truly take his eyes away from her.

Avatar

Azrael blushed slightly, running a hand through her hair. “I—I’ve never worn one before. And it seemed… Pretty.” She looked away, blushing more. “I wanted to try it, even if there’s not really occasion for such a thing.”

Dean looked her over as she tried to explain what she was doing, and he ended up just shaking his head with a laugh, “So you just picked out a dress and decided you might as well try it on?”

She nodded a little, looking more shy as moments passed. "I, I mean, yes. Although now I feel... Silly."

a different version of my muse (dean)
(as if i had to specify who my muse wasyou get demon!dean)

"Z! Hey," Dean spoke smoothly over the phone, leaning back against his car, "I can’t come by right now. Exactly. I’m busy, hunting, with Sam. And he doesn’t really want to see you," The demon faked a hurt look before smirking.

"I’ll be back soon. Don’t worry. Don’t look for me. Or at me. Right now. I’m fine."

Avatar

"That definitely doesn’t sound typical of your brother," she said, face drawing. For once, she was glad of the fact he couldn’t see her right now—her expression wasn’t exactly normal. She was frowning, tense, obviously concerned. Something felt wrong, here, but she didn’t want him to know she thought so. "Is he all right?"

The phrase made her pause, running through colloquialisms. “You’re… Sick, right? Would you like me to heal you? It isn’t a trouble.” She hoped she’d gotten that one right, anyway.

"Well, he’s, uh, having a bad day. I don’t know, I never really know with Sam. He’s like that sometimes. Wish we were more similar, so I could read him better," He shrugged his shoulders, leaning back against the car that was behind him. She was reading through some of his lies, but he had been expecting that as well. He then responded, "He’s… pissy, I think that’s it, though."

"Uh, no. Can’t be healed. I’m fine. I’ll be better soon. I am sick, though. But you don’t need to heal me." Shit. This was harder with an angel than he had been expecting.

"That's unfortunate, and I hope he's better soon, then." She stifled a little sigh, shaking her head. "That must be it. Temperamental." She kicked a rock, watching it skip away. "Your brother isn't always predictable."

Walking over, she kicked another rock, watching it fly down the road. "That's unusual. As an angel, I should be able to heal anything that ails you, Dean."

"That’s… probably the better idea," Dean didn’t look up, didn’t meet her eyes at all.

"You’ll find out someday, I hope." She blushed at the laugh, shoulders going up in a shrug. "Then it’ll have to do, right? Because I don’t know much of that at all."

Dean nodded back with her words, shrugging, “Suppose I will, huh.” And then he grinned, nodding his head, “Yeah, suppose it will, huh?”

She giggled at his repetition, nodding in agreement. "I try to do well, definitely. Or make things work."

Azrael walked into the motel room, a plastic bag in hand. "Someone told me it was pie day...? So I got you a pie. That's the appropriate thing to do, right?" [[can't stop won't stop]]

Avatar

Dean heard the door open and opened only one eye, before he heard the words, and sat up quickly, nearly falling off of the bed, “You got me pie?” A grin lit up his whole face.

Avatar

Dean grinned toward the pie, sitting it onto the table and cutting into it, “Shit, Z, you’re amazing,” He said once he saw that it was apple. Dean might start crying. He finished cutting it and then set her a piece onto one of the plates. “I guess I could share,” He grinned before taking a piece (two, two pieces) for himself and leaning against the chair. With a mouthful of pie, he said, “Still the best ever, god, Azzie. Thank you.”

Azzie smiled as he started cutting it, glad to have cheered him up so much. It wasn't often she saw him this excited and happy--he wasn't exactly in a joyous mood, most days. "Well, thank you." She took the slice he'd set out for her, poking at it with a fork uncertainly. "It really wasn't any trouble," she replied, taking a small bite. She took a moment to consider the flavour, savouring it briefly as she thought. "It is rather good," she admitted.

Dean could tell that she was worried from his words and then he bit his lip, “I don’t know, maybe. I think he’s a little bit drunk, but he’s just sort of… pissed at all of us?” Dean worked through his lie smoothly, watching his brother across the way getting them lunch.

"I’m, uh, under the weather. A little bit. Don’t look so great. And, uh, yeah?" Okay. So he should have probably thought through his words before saying them. Because now she was going to want to heal him.

"Well, I hope you’re able, when you want to." She frowned slightly, pressing her lips together. "You can’t know that for sure…" But his little laugh made her smile again, briefly, hands rubbing up her arms with uncertainty. "I—is that not a sufficient reply?"

Dean nodded his head quietly, “Yeah, I hope so, too. But who knows,” He sighed softly, looking up toward the ceiling and then shrugging his shoulders with her words again, laughing slightly, “Honestly, Azzie? I don’t really know what is.”

Dean honestly could not remember if they had gotten two beds or not, because Azrael tended to just not sleep. The hunter blinked his eyes open as she moved into his bed. “Do you need something?” He asked sleepily, rolling over to not bother with getting up, just so that he was facing her.

Avatar

Dean grinned down toward her as she spoke again, “Awh, Z, c’mon, that’s gotta be something to add to my resume, right?” He said, which was matched with … a giggle? “That’d be a load of awesomeness, huh?” The man was shaking slightly with his words.

"I don't want to be part of your hunting resume! That's as bad as stuffing and mounting my body after you've killed me. And a little creepy." She made a fist and brought it down on his chest softly, giggling anyway. "A load of nonsense, that's what it'd be." Scoffing, she rolled her eyes dramatically.

"I doubt it, but I can… if I wanted to, I guess I could try," He sighed softly before ducking his head down, looking up slowly again with the words, shrugging his shoulders slowly. "I don’t think I’m better suited for anything, Z." He smiled back to her with a slight laugh before looking back at the girl again, "Some of us do." He nodded quietly. "Well, thanks, then."

"Well, I hope you're able, when you want to." She frowned slightly, pressing her lips together. "You can't know that for sure..." But his little laugh made her smile again, briefly, hands rubbing up her arms with uncertainty. "I--is that not a sufficient reply?"
