Every reference in “Black Museum”

At least the ones I managed to see. If I’m missing any, please add them

References to White Bear s2ep2

Reference to Hated in the Nation s3ep6

Reference to Crocodile s4ep3

I’m almost sure this is a reference to National Anthem s1ep1

Reference to USS Callister s4ep1

The egg back there is a reference to White Christmas s2ep4

Reference to Arkangel s4ep2

Reference to San Junipero s3ep4

Reference to Fifteen Million Merits s1ep2

I personally felt like this was a reference to Season 2, Ep 1, Be Right Back. I could be wrong though.

How many horsepower is 1 horse?

Okay logically it follows that a horse is 1 horse power but what’s the standard? Because horses aren’t the same

the average horse can produce almost 15 horsepower

The Houses as Netflix Originals

Note: I would recommend all four of these. Watch them. They’re wonderful.

Ravenclaw: Sense8. Encourages individuality and acceptance of yourself and others. Takes you on a mind journey to other cultures. The nature of the sensate connections leaves much room for theories and speculations.

Gryffindor: Anne with an “E”. Shows a resilient and courageous girl who fights for what she wants despite the cards she’d been dealt with, and inspires bravery in others. Touches on many themes related to social justice.

Hufflepuff: Stranger Things. A group of unlikely allies bonding over a common goal, putting aside their differences to save a friend as well as the whole town. Even at the expense of their own safety and sanity.

Slytherin: Black Mirror. Although the prospects of a futuristic society is appealing, this show reminds us to watch our backs and know our limits, even as we marvel at the ambitious possibilities technology can bring.

im just saying that if i see any of you supporting that new “heathers” movie remake im going to hit the fucking ceiling

i believe that the trailer speaks for itself on why you shouldn’t support it

i watched the trailer. while i don’t believe in forming an opinion without seeing the source, i don’t recommend watching the trailer without taking a huge breath because of a whole host of triggers but to sum it up? this movie directly misses the point of “heathers” and instead puts minority characters as villains. the “punchline” about their characters is that they are fat, or a poc, or genderqueer. that’s the joke. somehow, this “makes them popular.” instead of incredibly privileged rich girls, we get a stereotype straight from a baby boomer’s book of “evil sjws”. it’s cringe-worthy. the protagonist is a feathery, wispy white girl. if the red pill part of reddit came out with a version of “heathers” it actually might be better than this.

there’s a lot from the original heathers that doesn’t age well, but boy is this movie shaping up to be a fucking wreck. it’s essentially someone’s fantasy about killing people who don’t look or act like those in power. in the current world as it stands, it’s pornographic violence against minorities, and is the opposite of subversive. where the original heathers was “punching up,” this movie basically says “what if we finally got to kill gay people and people of color and fat people on screen,” as if it doesn’t fucking happen in person. this movie is a neonazi’s wet dream. two straight white people killing minorities? hmm why doesn’t this shock me.

this movie not only leans into the idea that situations of massive disadvantage are actually just “secretly positions of power,” (hi that’s an idea that nazis have) it relishes in the idea that they deserve to be killed for it. i know a lot of people are mad that this is ruining the whole vibe of the original, but please be more mad that this is an idea that went through many many many people and nobody stopped it. hollywood is promising us change and then gives us this bullshit?

please don’t go see this movie. don’t promote it. they get money from you watching the trailer and they get money from people who hatewatch it and they get money when you make fb posts about how much you hate it. so just like. turn ur back. let it die quietly, because the more noise we make about it, the more vindicated the creators will be - this idea that they’re “going against pc culture and being edgy and new and shocking” is a really popular farce to cover up “i’m actually invested in the status quo and used to cry when i had to share in preschool also even though i think i’m unique i have the exact personality of a rotten tuna sandwich” – so don’t give them a chance to cover their asses. just don’t fucking bother.

god i hate this i hate this is even a thing i didn’t even like love the original heathers but holy shit this is a fucking mess

I agree with the point that JD was a villain, but damn this really is like… “tumblr fanart” Heathers. Shoving in as many labels of the marginalized as possible while completely missing the point of anything on every level and producing the most offensive shit ever.

Like, an important question to ask that director would have been why is Veronica and JD the only characters that didn’t need to change? Why was it only the shallow unlikable bullies who get whacked the only ones that needed to be dressed up like a bunch of clowns from a Chick Tract? Why couldn’t Veronica or JD’s race or gender or sexuality been thrown into a blender too? Didn’t it ever occur to anyone in the pipeline what the implication is there?

Also I thought this was supposed to be a tv show???

the donald trump animatronic at disneyland’s hall of presidents looks like they made an animatronic for hillary, went “oh fuck” and stretched a hastily-made donald trump skin over hillary’s facial structure

Let’s make sure this bullshit doesn’t follow us into 2018

These women are heroines. They have superpowers. They save the world on a regular basis. They all have personalities and backstories and they all dedicate their lives to the greater good and ALL you care about it the length of their skirts and the amount of cleavage that is revealed by their clothes.

Who are the mysogynists here again?

These women are constantly running and/or flying, fighting, and going out in the middle of the night when it is cold. They all are in positions where their breast need support and the proper protection from enemies and the elements, along with the rest of their chests. These women are fighting along side men whose suits are drawn to be practical and not sexualize them. Not to mention men are drawn with the correct anatomy, which is less than I can say about these women who are mostly drawn by straight men who have never seen a boob before.

That last one was what this was about. In my search I saw countless other impractical suits and poses, but this was mostly about incorrect anatomy and clothing that showcases that. These women deserve to have their bodies respected to the same degree their male counterparts are. Catwoman was fighting and parts of her suit tore… to expose her breasts. That sort of treatment would never be given to a male hero. Sure, their suits can tear at times, but never in a way to make them “sexier.”

These women do have strong personalities and some indeed have superpowers. The heroes save the day while the villains here are trying to survive the best way they know how. They are all their own person and deserve to be treated as such. This includes not being drawn by men who obviously don’t understand how female anatomy works without sexualizing it.

But, right, because I care about this stuff this makes me the misogynist.

ALSO let me add that it is not fucking hard to draw female superheroes in practical costumes. I am an artist. I am going into comics (partly so I might be able to do something about this) so I know what it is like drawing people in different types of outfits. Their chests are not hard to draw, these guys just don’t know how to draw them because all of their references have been other men drawing female superheroes like the above. Spandex doesn’t work this say, neither does cotton, leather, or wool. No material makes boobs look like balls that are barely on your chest, except for the possibly bad boob job. Nothing against people with breast implants, but as far as I know none of these women have that in their back story.

Want to see female superheroes that have proper anatomy? Here!

And her powers include messing with her anatomy, hence her hand!

These are ladies with full coverage AND their chests are actually realistic with how they are drawn.

Can a hero have huge chests? Yes! Of course. These chests still aren’t the smallest. Not huge, but not tiny. You don’t need a perfectly flat chest to be a hero, but if you have a large chest you still deserve support and to be drawn correctly.

“Hey can women wear practical clothing?”

“YOU’RE THE REAL SEXIST”
