OKAY BITCHES LISTEN UP as you can probably see my dear country happens to be trending rn and if you look at the tag you'll mostly see vacationy stuff and beautiful beaches! There is so much bullshit happening here in the Philippines and it can all be summarized to some dick trying to establish a dictatorship here by proclaiming the martial-law-without-a-label that is the Anti-Terrorism Bill. With this bill, the police are allowed to arrest without warrants on the basis of suspicion so basically if you're a filipino and you criticize the president on social media or in rallies YOU CAN BE ARRESTED WITHOUT WARRANTS AND IT WILL BE LEGAL and this infringes on Section 4 of our Bill of Rights which is our Right to Freedom of Speech. There are other laws that this bill directly violates but all in all the safety and lives of many Filipinos will be endangered. Check the hashtag #JunkTerrorBill to find out more and help spread the news. Things are definitely not as happy go lucky as the tumblr trend algorithm portrays.

Hey folks, this is not your typical post about incorrect quotes.

I want to address a serious issue today, and most of you probably know what’s been going on in the US.

The killing of George Floyd started another serious and necessary debate on Police brutality in the states. (And I think not just there. Every country is affected in some way or another.)

My heart doesn’t ache, no. My heart is bleeding and crying out of pain about what has been going on for days now. What people have been going through for years and years. This is not the first case of police brutality against POC, nor the second, and it probably isn’t the last one.

It happened so many times already that I can’t count them all. Our world has lost so many beautiful souls to this never-ending issue. Additionally to this, we lost so many brothers and sisters of color who were part of the LGBTQ+ community too. Even though it is pride month, I can’t enjoy and celebrate it as much as I want to.

But now is the time to act. Now more than ever! We all have a voice, and I’m sure as hell using mine. And I want you to do the same.

Everyone’s able to do something. Even if you don’t have the money to donate, or you’re not from the US, share articles, draw attention to it in some way. Being silent about this puts you on the side of the offenders.

GENERAL RULES OF A PROTEST:

1. Don't wear contacts.

2. If you get tear gassed, when you get home, put the contaminated clothes in a plastic bag for later decontamination and shower with cold water to avoid opening your pores.

3. Come with friends and don't get separated.

Avoid leaving the crowd and watch out for police snatch squads.

4. Beware undercovers, but beware snitch jacketing and collaborator 'peace police' even more.

5. The far right is very good at combing through pictures and doxxing people. Mask up. Also its covid and with mace and pepper spray bring extra..once its hit with those itll suffocate you and be rendered useless.

6. Write any necessary phone numbers you may need directly on your skin in sharpie.

7. Have an offsite plan for emergencies if you have not been heard from by X time coordinated with someone offsite.

8. Make sure all mobile devices are charged!!

9. If you plan on going to jail, plan it: bail, lawyer, time off from work, witnesses i.e.: a cadre. Don't just go to jail without training.

10. Beware folks inciting violence. Most of them are police feds. Watch out for hook ups for the same reason. Get to know the crowd. They will set you up.
