Describe Your OC

  • 1:their voice

Harathir probably sounds like Asa Butterfield, if I can give a good example; slightly higher pitched, young-sounding but well spoken with a sort of... tense way of speaking? Hopefully that makes sense. Naewin, on the other hand, I imagine to sound like Sophie Turner; again refined, with manners, but more mature sounding.

  • 2:their smile

Naewin’s is big and toothy, she grins, whereas Harathir doesn’t really show his teeth with his smile unless he’s laughing or talking at the same time.

  • 3:their greatest achievement

For Harathir, I think it’s been ongoing; learning to be a better guardian, becoming stronger, and the fact that he’s always working on these things, given he might have been a bit apathetic before. Naewin’s is probably Cileveth accepting her proposal. ;-;

  • 4:their insecurities

Harathir has a height complex, which is BARELY hidden. XP Naewin isn’t really an insecure person, but I think she might occasionally worry that others think her unintelligent because she’s extroverted and not as well read as her friends.

  • 5:their shortcomings

I’m not really sure how to answer this, so we’ll say that Naewin isn’t the most mature person to go to for advice. She likes to think she has wisdom, but she doesn’t always. Harathir isn’t very observant at all, which isn’t the best for someone who wants to be a guardian.

  • 6:how they deal with grief

Naewin finds solace in helping others. If she and Harathir lost someone very close, for example, she would be devastated, but would focus on Harathir and helping him to work through her grief, while he deals absolutely terribly. I’ve thought about how he’d deal with losing someone very, very close, and he would mourn for days, crying, being useless, unable to eat anything. He’d need looking after.

  • 7:how they like to dress

Both favour practical garments, but because of their upbringing, they also both like to look as nice as possible, though Harathir is worse for it, since he hates anything getting dirty.

  • 8:what they like to eat

EVERYTHING EVER. Harathir adores food. Naewin likes fruit and vegetables, anything that’s small and can be eaten with fingers, like cherry tomatoes or grapes or the like.

  • 9:their theme

Again, not too sure how to answer this, so what I’m going to do is list some words/settings/textures etc I associate with them. Harathir; silk, silver, shades of sky blue and spring green, white flowers, trees and filigree. Naewin; linen, crimson and burgundy, orchids and violets, oak wood, autumn, deco-style patterns, velvet.

  • 10:their fashion sense

See 7; practical, fashionable, comfortable. Naewin is far less bothered about keeping everything neat, though.

  • 11:their family life

Overall good, but Harathir has daddy issues, as I think I’ve discussed. Their family isn’t a cuddly, fluffy one, but it’s no less loving than any other.

  • 12:their romantic life

Harathir is a clingy, adoring cuddler, and loves to basically be in Turi’s pocket at all times, hates being separate. Naewin is more relaxed and not so into PDAs, HOWEVER, she is very affectionate and protective of Cileveth.

  • 13:their embarrassing memory from years ago

Gimme some time to think about this one! Harathir probably has a million. B]

  • 14:how they react to burning their tongue on food

Naewin probably does the standard flapping her hands in front of her mouth, breathing in deeply and drinking lots of water after, but Harathir likely does what I do; covers his mouth and leaves his mouth gaping open, in silent pain but not wanting to break ~macho af~ character. ;p

  • 15:how they react to a brainfreeze

This is almost the opposite of the above; Harathir would be the one groaning and hissing and rubbing his head while squirming, whereas Naewin would be the kind of person to squeeze her eyes shut and wait it out, cursing to herself.

  • 16:their dreams

They both have strong family values instilled by their father, so I think the two of them want to marry their partners and have wonderful little families.

  • 17:their ambitions

Neither of them have any set sort of goals, really. Naewin’s is currently to travel, and Harathir wants to be as good a combatant as possible.

  • 18:how they sleep

Naewin spreads out, definitely. On her side or back , one leg bent out in front, the other straight, mouth open. XP Harathir is more on his side, one arm tucked under his head, the other resting neatly under his chin, something like that.

  • 19:their reaction to betrayal

Naewin would be hurt and angry, and I actually don’t see her very likely to forgive? But Harathir would get incredibly upset, he’d probably cry. ;~;

  • 20:their reaction to a mystery love letter

OF COURSE they would both be completely thrilled, but Harathir would be beet red! Naewin would mostly flirt with everyone she knew, just in case it was one of them

  • 21:how they react to pain

Harathir is a bit of a cabbage with pain, though neither of them are tough in that way. Naewin would do a sarcastic ‘ough’ to cover up deeper pain, I reckon.

  • 22:what they're like on two hours of sleep

Neither deal well with lack of sleep, but in this instance, Harathir is much better. Naewin gets dopey after a couple of hours, and then irritable. Harathir just gets derpy. “Hm...? 8I”

  • 23:how they act when they're sick

Harathir is PATHETIC. Whining, sniffling, whimpering, stuff like that. Naewin would likely do her best to carry on as normal.

  • 24:what motivates them

Friends, family, food (Harathir), adventure.

  • 25:why you enjoy them

I haven’t expressed this here, but Naewin and Harathir are two sides of a @magicalkiff coin. Their personalities combined almost make my own, so they’re really easy and fun to play, and more than anything, the characters they’re surrounded by bring out all the fun from them. <3
