The gang moved in perfect sync with each other, each having their own action in order to get them out without any questions being raised. Rider and Taegi were both creating a distraction in the waiting room with one of Taegi’s dogs running lose, while Wing was getting rid of the paper work and log ins on the hospital computer. Jerick followed quickly after Brax to make sure they got out without being stopped.
The moment Brax found Yoongi and wrapped his arms around him, he couldn’t bring himself to let go. His eyes stinging with tears as he held onto him. “No…” He shook his head, leaning down to kiss at Yoongi’s temple, holding him against him. “I’m never leaving you again.”
Brax licked his lips, nodding when Yoongi pulled attention back to leaving. Jerick was pressing on the two of them to move. “Yoongi knows the drill better than you, Braxie.” Jerick teased, moving them towards the exit. “Come on, Taegi can only let his dog run lose for so long.” He laughed, watching from a security camera as several nurses and security guards chased after the running dog in the hallways.
Once they made it out of the hospital, Insu was pulling up in the parking lot, shoving the door open for them to get in. He laughed lightly. “Good to see you alive, both of you. Crazy ass lovebirds, get in the damn car so we can get the fuck outta here.”
[슈가] Yoongi had gotten Brax out of the hospital a few times, as well as helped the other’s get him out of trouble. He knew how to go about this, even if it hadn’t happened more than a few times. He knew how important it was to get him out and safe, away from anyone that might turn him in. If he was turned in, he might never see him again, that would leave him worse off than he was the first time.
Yoongi couldn’t stop the flow of tears, despite his focus turning to getting the other out of the place, trying to believe his words. “It’s hard to believe,” he whispered, his brow furrowing as if he were in pain at the mere thought of him leaving again. “You could disappear, just like before. You could,” he muttered.
Yoongi ignored everyone, every comment made after that until they got out of the hospital. As quickly as possible he moved to slip into the car, silently bowing his head, wiping the tears that had managed to fall down his cheeks. He didn’t want anyone to see him cry, not after what had just happened. He had been weak, he knew that. He was so dependant on the other, and there was nothing he could do to stop that. He was nothing without him.
He ignored the other’s comment, holding his head in his hands as he thought about what he’d do now. He’d fallen low. He’d lost a lot, and he was lucky he still had his job. “What you did, Brax... What you did... It could have cost me a lot... My manager hasn’t fired me yet, but I’m sure he’s close... I haven’t worked on anything, I’m just lost...”
