idk how many of you are using this already but hopefully it will help someone out when saving gifs. but basically in this tutorial kinda thing i’ll try to explain how to play around with your colour palette to have your choice of 256 colours bc PS can be a b*tch.

2020 com certeza foi um ano incrivelmente horrível, com muitas turbulências e problemas a serem resolvidos o tempo todo. Eu não estive muito ativa até o final, mas podem ter certeza de que tudo o que eu trouxe foi com carinho e amor pra vocês.

Primeiro eu quero agradecer as minhas amigas, a gente se juntou no final do ano passado tentando fazer algo novo e maravilhoso, mesmo não tendo dado certo na primeira tentativa quero com certeza no futuro fazer um projeto com essas meninas, porque não é fácil passar por dores de cabeça tão unidas quanto temos enfrentado esse ano.

Também quero recomendar que vocês conheçam o trabalho que outras pessoas que eu conheço o blog vai fazer anos aqui no tumblr, que estão sempre aqui apesar da comunidade ter sempre seus altos e baixos, vocês são incríveis e espero continuar mais alguns anos aqui com vocês.

E por último, e eu acho que mais importante, quero agradecer ao pessoal que vem me creditado e usado meus resources e me ajudado a crescer. Vocês são muito importantes pra mim e às vezes eu vejo vocês falando em desistir na minha dash, mas não desistam, eu amo ver as edits lindas de vocês nas minhas mentions, são puro talento <3

Acho que estão todos aqui, muito obrigada pela consideração de vocês <3 espero que consigam todo o reconhecimento e amor que vocês merecem. Entrem no tumblr deles e conheçam o trabalho desse pessoal, apoiem os tumblrs novos de edit principalmente, são momentos difíceis que estamos passando e toda ajuda é bem-vinda.

Here’s an updated/re-uploaded version of my little guide on gif speed because a loooot of people are making their gifs excessively slow when the right speed is almost always .05. Not .06 or .07, NOT .1—but point zero-five. And please, DO NOT skip frames. I’m seeing this left and right and it’s painful to see. There’s no excuse to do this. It doesn’t look good and it’s choppy. Maybe you’re attempting to cut down the size of the gif, but this isn’t tumblr circa 2011 anymore guys. We have up to 3mb to make gifs. If it’s too big, either 1) break up the gif into more parts, 2) crop the height of the gifs a bit, or 3) add a tiiiiiny of lossy (grain) to the gif (this helps me so much when I’m in a pinch). But seriously, making sure you have each and every frame in your gif is THE most important part of making a decent gif. Trust me. Just look at the gifs above for reference. And if you’re using the timeline method of making gifs, Photoshop saves them as .07 by default, so you need to re-open your saved gif, manually change it to .05, and re-save it. That’s what I do. It may be a pain in the ass, but it’s worth it. ALSO check for duplicate frames, especially if you’ve downloaded something that’s not 1080p. If you leave them in there, your gifs will look awful and laggy.

**AND I’ve noticed that in the AHS fandom in particular, people are using .07 and slower speeds for their gifs and this is just too. damn. slow. Seriously, most people on MOST browsers see .05 as the PERFECT gif speed. There’s a reason this is the universal gif speed. Firefox apparently used to view gifs on a different speed than every other mainstream browser, but it’s been fixed in an update. There’s no more excuses now not to gif in .05, y’all.
