For that anon with questions about Disney style eyes: there are three different exercises I use to figure out how they draw eyes. One is studying realistic eyes, their anatomy, and how eyes sit in the eye socket. The second is breaking down Disney eyes into basic shapes (circle, square, whichever feels best/makes the most sense to you); tracing the outlines of their eyes really helped me figure this part out. The third is to try and recreate the eyes in different expressions. Good news is you’ve got lots of source material to spend hours on. Grab a screen shot from your favorite movie and just. Redraw it over and over until the style feels natural. I’m definitely NOT a Disney artist, but my style takes a lot of inspiration from Disney so I feel your struggles lol

Glen Keane to Direct Animated Feature, Over The Moon

“Thrilled to announce I will be directing Pearl Studio’s Over The Moon as a world premiere animated film for Netflix. Meet our heroine Fei Fei, coming to you in 2020.” – Glen Keane

Scheduled to be released in 2020, the film tells the tale of Fei Fei, “a girl who builds a rocket ship and blasts off to the moon in hopes of meeting a legendary Moon Goddess.”

Audrey Wells, who co-wrote Fox’s upcoming film adaptation of The Hate U Give wrote the screenplay. The film’s songs will be crafted by Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield, and Helen Park.
