Thank you, @taylorswift, for inspiring me and encouraging me along the way… you’re in my dedication on the first page! I can’t wait to tell you more about my study sometime!

My study was all about strong females - in the college presidents role - the challenges they face and how they overcome them through the lens of social role theory. So thankful to have so many strong women in my life… I love you all! All of you inspire me, thank you! Now, back to raising Eloise and prepping for these twin boys! Dr. Childs is proud to be Dr. Mom!

Instead of getting officially hooded as a Dr. today, I’m taking Eloise to music class (rocking my #ME merch) and there’s no place I’d rather be! My priority is my littles & I’m proud that I can tell them - and show them - that you can do anything you set your mind to 🎓🍾

The Man has me thinking about this all over again! My dissertation and it’s findings are so closely aligned to this song it gives me chills! I really think you’d enjoy reading it and my findings, would love to chat it about it someday. Love you, @taylorswift aka The Man!

“I’m crazier for you, than I was at sixteen, lost in a film scene” …is this a reference to you singing Crazier in the Hannah Montana movie OR HAVE THE EASTER EGGS MADE ME GO CRAZY? (Probably the latter is more likely)

Taylor, thanks for featuring the kids from Toronto’s Regent Park School of Music in ‘It’s Nice To Have a Friend.’ There is SO much musical talent coming out of Toronto (hello Drake, Shawn Mendes, Weeknd, etc., etc.,) But so many of these kids come from underprivileged neighborhoods that don’t have all the resources for their talents to thrive, but this song and your donation to the school is going to do so, so, so much to help!! I love my city and I love what you’ve done to help it!!

Anyways, I’m packing for my vacation in Jamaica (cause I’m turning 30 in a few days and I’d like to do that on a beach with several drinks in hand) and I’m usually very anxious about the flight but I know I can just listen to Lover on repeat throughout the whole flight and I’m so excited!!
