Day 2: New year newest book
I picked this up on holiday from Barnes and Noble and it’s so pretty! I can’t wait to read it and hope it’s as enjoyable to read as the illustrations are to look at!
This book is so good, I read it before I knew anything about George R.R. Martin or Game Of Thrones. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that I realized I had a book from the guy who wrote Game Of Thrones.
The book is so beautiful it can stand on its own. It's my first George R.R. Martin book (although I'm a huge fan of the game of thrones tv series) and this has definitely made me want to read the song of ice and fire books when I find some time!
This book gave me such a mixture of super happy feels and terribly miserable feels. Therefore it was great!
MAGNUS BANE! The most fabulous free-wheeling bisexual warlock I have ever come across!
Day 4: First book I ever loved Now for the obvious choice, Harry Potter. Need I say more?
Day 3: Childhood favourite The obvious choice is Harry Potter. However I decided to show something different. I haven't read this series for years now but at the time I loved it. I honestly don't know how i'd feel if I read it now but a reread sounds fun!
Day 2: New year newest book
I picked this up on holiday from Barnes and Noble and it’s so pretty! I can’t wait to read it and hope it’s as enjoyable to read as the illustrations are to look at!
My main goal is to decrease the number of unread books I own. I haven’t set a number goal this year as I’m going to be super busy with exams! :(
January ~ Book Photo Challenge!
Another year is over and a new one is beginning. Hopefully this new year will be full of fun, love, inspiration, friendship, family, health and of course books! This photo challenge is a wonderful way to express your creativity and hopefully it will also lead you to new and inspiring books. Go out there and capture this year! Go on a literary adventure and when the year is over look back at these photos and see the moments you have captured over the course of 12 months. I am wishing you all the best this year!

Day 31: what I've read this month The blood of Olympus- As always, another book by Rick Riordan that I can't help but love! Prince Lestat- I've only just started this so it doesn't really count. However this is one of my most anticipated books of the year so I'm going to include it anyway. In the Afterlight- I really enjoyed this series as a whole and thought this was a good conclusion. A monster calls- I loved this! Patrick Ness is becoming one of my favourite authors and I've only read a small number of his books. Through the woods- I really liked the different styles of art throughout this book and the creepy storylines!
Day 30: Mischievous character I'd say Percy can be rather mischievous.
Day 28: reading next I just got this and am so excited to start it!
Day 28: favourite place to read I love reading in my room, surrounded by all my books.
Day 27: Witches brew Instead of choosing a favourite hot drink, as I love them all, I decided to take a picture of my 'witches brew' scented candle. I love the smell of this and decided that there is no book better to pair it with than Harry potter!
Day 26: Wish list I keep a list of the books I want to buy on my phone. Here's a small section of it.
Day 25: Freaky Friday (a little weird) I really enjoyed the concept of this book but I found it all a little weird in a kind of good way.
