Though I need to warn you, if you play too hard then it may be harder to get back into study mode!

But play hard anyway! You’ll miss having holidays when you go to secondary school!

To everyone affected by the series of bomb blasts around the world, I pray you stay strong through this trying period, and that the challenges that are before you will fade sooner rather then later. Please be safe.

To all my followers, I urge everyone to keep your hearts and mind open and to be as inclusive as possible in these trying times. To alienate others is to bring more pain and suffering. Open your hearts to everyone who needs it, and refuse the walls that people will build around them. Create allies rather then enemies and hope that all will be well.

I am not so sure what is going to happen in the future, but I’m not feeling too optimistic.

Isn't gum illegal in Singapore Though?

anyway now you can buy sugarless gum here so it’s not illegal at all to chew gum.

though if you happen to find, somehow, somewhere, a really good packet of gum, then all the better for you!

*No, it’s not a real acronym but it should be. Wont be surprised if a company here used it.

**I wont be surprised if a company in here used this somewhere too.

//headcannon: Singapore’s transport system is what keeps her running (aside from finance) so I attribute it to her blood system. If it clogs up... it clogs up.

Wait what problems does sg have with China? Like I don't really know + other countries too like Japan, I'm only like sec 1 so I haven't learned these political relations yet so yea idk stuff. (Please pardon my weird phrasing I swear my English isn't always like this)

well… there were a lot of things going on. With the TPP not having US support and the alternative being RCEP, China’s hold on SEA is getting stronger while the US’s influence getting weaker. I mean the US was supposed to balance out everything with China, but that seems like a no go…

Coupled with the South China Sea where he’s adding islands and militarising the Spratleys… It affects me too you know, even if I don’t claim any of the islands. And of course last year China blamed me for pushing the agenda and siding with the US instead of them. Yeah, yeah, I should stay out of this whole thing right? At least ASEAN is going to do so more now then ever….

Aaaand just a few months ago there was the incident with Hong Kong where they detained our military vehicles… This kind of thing didnt really happen last time, so now that it’s happening.. quite concerning. Not to mention that China had been asking me to switch from doing military exercises with Taiwan then to him.

China’s growing, and honestly…? I’m not sure my way of handling things can work as well anymore… Still, we need to support him. I’m a very peaceful country I think we can still gain from each other if we get the diplomacy all right… I hope.

//Tbh, I stopped listening to all of this for a bit so my knowledge can be wrong, especially since news can change easily. whoops~ But I think Singapore is going to be more focused on having good relations with China then the US. Our dear PM already did note that the US is an unstable parter at this point, and just a few days ago CNA was saying that ASEAN would be more conciliatory now. Honestly, Singapore cant afford to make things anymore rocky especially now that ASEAN seems to be targeting the efforts towards China and China’s rise. How much Singapore can continue to have a relationship of balance between countries all rested with the countries being able to accepted it. We’ll need to see how it goes. I’m not a pol-sci student so these views are just mine and can be very wrong.

On a more hetalia and light hearted note
