“One question for those of you who also watch Arrow...didn't we just learn on Arrow Season 4 Episode 12 that Constantine made Sara whole, thereby tempering her bloodlust? So...why is she in such a bad way again? Or will she just not die if she doesn't take a life as Thea Queen is experiencing? That seemed like a logistics issue.”
// So what’s the deal? Isn’t Sara “fixed”, now? That’s what we learned on Arrow... then the next day, Legends of Tomorrow contradicted this revelation. So, is Constantine just an asshole who screwed it up, somehow? Or, is Team Arrow wrong in their estimation of Sara’s well-being? I have a burning need to know!
(Or, was it just a timing thing, meaning LoT was written and filmed before this latest episode of Arrow? Was this a continuity error due to poor communications between the shows’ writing staff? What happened? The world may never know...)

Felicity beamed, pleased that Barry would have sung her nerdly praises -- and to such a pretty friend, too...
“Yeah,” she excitedly replied. “If computers were a garden, I’d have, like, the greenest thumb.”
She could have stopped there. Maybe she should have... But instead, Felicity kept on running her mouth.
“Course, that’s kind of a terrible analogy. I’m not really good with plants... save for the fern, but... ferns are easy. They’re like those sticks of bamboo that you just stick in water, and they just kind of take care of themselves...” She trailed off, realizing that she’d been rambling and offered the other woman a sort of apologetic smile.
“Anyway, it’s nice to meet you, Barry’s friend -- I’m Felicity.”

“That’s not.. exactly what I meant.” Dean let out a nervous chuckle, not really know how to break the news to the pretty lady, but since she knew about some humans with super powers maybe she was good at keeping secrets about other stuff that are out there.
“I was actually referring to ghosts, werewolves, vampires, shapeshifters, demons… you know, the usual kind of non-human things?”
“Before you call the cops about a crazy person on the loose, please give me a heads up?” he asked, knowing exactly how he must sound. He just didn’t really have time to beat around the bushes. He was here on a case after all.
“Actually...” Felicity said, trailing off for a moment while she tried to sort out her response.
So, then, what about those who had endured the Lazarus Pit? If the hot-tub-life-machine brought the dead back to life, didn’t that technically make them zombies? And then, weren’t zombies one of those ‘usual’ non-human things?
::Wait -- that would make Thea a zombie... And, she’s totally not a zombie...:: Felicity frantically thought, wondering if she ought to tell this super cute Dean guy about Nanda Parbat and the secretive League of Assassins and their immortal-bath-tub, or whatever it was.
::... Nah...:: she decided a split second later.
“No,” Felicity said, finally finishing her answer. “There’s nothing like that here in Starling City -- at least, not that I’ve heard about.” She blinked a couple of times and then the idea hit her to ask Dean, “Why?”
Were there actually weird, creepy things out there? Was that why he was here? Should there be anything Felicity ought to be careful of and to warn her friends about?

“You know, like, not human, maybe?”
“Umm...” Felicity intoned, thinking about whether or not she ought to mention Barry and the other meta-human folks from Central City.
Of course, because she knew about the existence of actual super-powered people, she hadn’t even given a spare thought to what other unusual, non-human things that this man might mean.
Felicity decided against mentioning Barry, because he was a friend, but... maybe she could tell this guy about some of the others...?
“Well... a couple years ago, there was this explosion at STAR Labs in Central City,” Felicity divulged. “Some people were... uhh... affected.” She waggled her eyebrows for emphasis. “Apparently...” she said, slowly leading up to her actual point. “... the blast contained dark matter and other particles that altered their genetic -- and probably even atomic -- make-up...” She trailed off, clearly fascinated by what she was talking about. “They can do all sorts of things, like fly... or move super-fast... create and control fire... or are super-strong...”
Those were only some of the abilities that Felicity had learned of from Cisco, but they were definitely ‘unusual’.
“Is that what you meant?” the blonde asked.

As a fairly new Ray Palmer RPer I expected to receive either a bunch of hate or pretty much no attention from the Flarrow fandom at all. But instead, I’ve made friends, had several people approach me interested in plotting, and even received compliments on my writing!

So I snagged the one and only copy of the Arrow Comic-Con issue at the nearby grocery store when I ran in for chocolate chess pie ingredients (all the other copies were Gotham). My mom was flipping through it and went “Oh look, Palmer Technologies!” (Sidenote: the most recent episode my mom has seen is 3x01.) I did a double take, but sure enough, it really was! Here’s a pic of the fake ad for Palmer Tech from the magazine. :)
