The kind and lovely Louise from @nailsalwayspolished gave me this green beauty as a Christmas gift - this is the mani I did with it, combined with Essie’s Penny Talk. I’m still practicing with the jelly stamper, so that’s why it might look kind of uneven, but I do hope you like it anyways ✨✨

β€œFalling apart” thermal glow-in-the dark nail polish from Echoes with copper toned stamping on top. Echoes Polish is one of my favourite brands, the formula is always really nice to work with and the only reason I don’t own more colours is that they don’t have that many for sale at any given time and the shipping from Canada to Sweden is a bit much if you only buy one or two bottles at a time.

I am totally in love with these mix and match turquoise and gold nails!

Sorry that the photos are a little bit out of focus. If you can’t see clearly, definitely make sure that you check out the video tutorial for this design! And don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel so that you never miss a design!

After cleaning, filing and shaping the nails and applying a base coat:

1. apply all your base colors. I painted my pinky and pointer finger and the top half of my ring finger with two thin coats of white polish and my middle finger and the top half of my thumb with turquoise polish.Β

2. apply a top coat to all nails and let that dry completely (this will give a really smooth base to paint those fine lines on top of. Also if/when you mess up with those little lines, it is really easy to clean up mistakes off of topcoat without messing up the color underneath.)

3. using a very thin striping brush and some black polish, make a ton of random thin wavy lines (going vertically up and down the nail) on all the white parts (so the entire pinky and pointer and the top half of the ring finer).Β

4. repeat step 3 but use a white polish on the top half of the thumb nail (where it is turquoise).Β

5. use a white polish and a slightly thicker striping brush to frame the middle finger nail (it is important to put the white underneath the gold so that the gold can really stand out against the dark turquoise).Β

6. cover the white frame with gold on the middle finger

7. make a stripe of gold at the edge of the negative space on both the thumb and the ring finger.Β

8. using the very small striper again in the gold polish, choose one white section (between two of the thin wavy lines) to fill in with gold on the pinky and pointer fingers.Β

9.Β  Finish up with your favorite top coat, and then remember to show me your versions or ask questions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Cynosure and Serendipity, or Nails by Naomi and make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for two new videos a week!
