as you can tell, this blog is now an archive.  i've been too overwhelmed on this account to do much of anything, even when i wanted to, so i need a fresh start.  if you'd like to continue our verse/plot/thread, please message me on my new account to let me know and i'd love to continue!  but otherwise, for the sake of me being able to keep a clear head, i'm dropping mostly everything.  for the most part, it's all very outdated anyway.  i'm really looking forward to being active again and just getting back to playing my favorite character.

                         her legs are crossed as she sits in the center of his                           over-sized bed, only looking up from her book at the                          sound of him walking up the steps. she’s in tune with                           the sounds the house makes now. how the second to                          last step squeaks & the cute annoyed face that damon                          always makes when it does. they have a routine.
                                    one that wouldn’t be in place if her house wasn’t                                      currently a war zone. she’s waiting for her brother                                     to relax, to get over his anger. 
                              ❛ stefan has started giving me sad eyes when                               he sees me in the kitchen. time for me to go ?  ❜

              he enters the room distractedly, halfway through               shrugging out of his jacket when he sees her perched               in the middle of his bed.  a slight, easy smile pulls               at his lips before he hears the note in her question.  

                              ❛ baby, how many times do i have to                                      tell you -------- that's just his face. ❜

              despite the lighthearted statement, he moves toward               her, reassurance creeping into his body language.  he               hangs up his jacket on his way over to her, sitting on               the side of the bed, hand finding the side of her face.  

                              ❛ his high horse runs on a plane we can't                                   even see.  no use in straining your eyes.                                   ---- you know you're always welcome here.                                     me or no me.  ❜

the fact that i know she didn’t send this makes it even better to do. 

honestly? i love her so much. i don’t know how to start this off without saying that because i truly love her a ridiculous amount. wow, big shocker, shelby loves her girlfriend. truly though, i think cat is one of the best people i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. i’m trying not to make this sound cliche by saying that i love everything about her but i do. i’ve had months to fall in love with her but before we were anything romantic she was one of my best friends. we spent hours on call joking around and talking about everything together. eventually, she became the person that i would want to call when i was driving home from work or driving to school. when something big happened or i saw something funny, she was who i wanted to talk to about it. she’s such a huge part of my life now that i can’t imagine her not being in it. i’m clearly biased but i’m incredibly lucky to have a writing partner that’s as talented as she is and can bring a character to life the way she does. every aspect of a character gets brought out when cat plays them, even the messy sides everyone ignores. out of character, she’s the funniest person i’ve ever met in my life (and she’s even funnier in person) and she’s one of the most caring people i know. this whole thing is very mushy and gross but whatever. 

i’m a huge dweeb who had a very, very obvious crush on her and i’m thankful every day that she felt the same way about me.
