Lucas didn’t think about that, he was trying to figure out how he got so wet. But thankfully Avery didn’t ask. A small smile came on his face when he was allowed, and his hands quickly grabbed on to his shirt and took off the cold, damp thing, probably under a second, leaving his skin exposed to the air. At least it can dry better. 

"If you don’t mind, I won’t mind something dry to wear," Of course, he won’t mind if he had to be wait on that. "But yes, I would really appreciate it if you can put them in the dryer."

Clearing his throat, he'd rush off to go check on the dryer, making sure it wasn't full of his own laundry first. Returning moments later, he'd take notice of the faded scars covering Lucas' back. Curiosity filled to the brim, lips parted to ask about them, but he had stopped himself, what if it was touchy subject? He wouldn't want Lucas getting upset. Practically forgetting about the clothing he'd say he'd throw into the dryer and the dry clothing for him to wear for a bit, he'd carefully walk up behind him and examine the scars, hesitantly, he place his hands on his back, fingers tracing a few scars here and there without a word, hopefully this wasn't crossing a line of sorts.          With fingers tracing along his scars, he could feel the urge to plant little kisses on them coming to the surface. It was more or less an urge to say he cared and didn't care if he had scars or not. Cause some, they hate their scars and think it'd make someone dislike them when it wasn't the case at all. Giving into the temptation, he leaned forward and planted small kisses along his upper back where some of the scars were.                 ❝Even though I'm curious, I won't ask unless you decide to tell me on your own.❞

Sapphire hues drifted closed for a moment or two, listening to the light footsteps approaching the room he resided in. As the woman entered, he watched her bow, waving his hand to say 'skip the usual'. Today, he had zero patience. Three weeks? That couldn’t have been all, it felt so much longer than that. Then again, flying around the world so much might skew his sense of time. Either way he was happy to see Avery, and happier to when he felt the arms wrap around him in return. 

"You should have let a note," He grumbled either way as he enjoyed the sensation for a few more moments before he pulling away. Of course he wasn’t thinking about the fact that he couldn’t probably read the whatever he wrote. "I’ve been waiting for you to come back," he whined a bit more.

Don’t even bother asking him how it happened, Lucas was still trying to figure it out. But he on his way to Avery’s he ended up soaking wet from head to toe despite not there being a cloud in sight there. Unfortunately, if Lucas was paying a little more attention he would have realized that the cloud he flew through was a little more full of rain than he expected and it was almost the same as flying through an ocean wave.

But that deterred him little from showing up as promised, though he already shed several things by the time he reached the front door, shoes and socks left out side to decrease the water he was bound to bring in and jacket left over his arm due how uncomfortable it was, though that wasn’t enough. 

"Can I take off my shirt and leave it somewhere to dry?" Was his first question when Avery opened the door, secretly hoping he won’t mind too much.

He could get Lucas some of his      clothes to change into so he wouldn't be cold or too uncomfortable, but that was all up to      Lucas.             ❝Go right ahead. Well, maybe common sense would say that he should have waited a bit before he showed up on the musician’s doorstep but Lucas was a little too excited to relay on common sense. But, he did take the chance to quickly hug the musician as soon as he opened the door enough. Not really thinking about if there was a line he was crossing, just that he missed him. 

"You jerk, you were gone for months, I missed you," hopefully Avery won’t mind the exaggeration and the hug too much.
