      he's noticed. it's worrying him a little,         to see dantalion so disheveled looking,         and though he can see the lack of life         in the hollows of her ghastly eyes, he         can also count the lines of a sort of age         along her cheekbones.

        as ever, he himself, the picture of good         health && well being ---- he feels that         perpetual twinge of guilt for being so         ignorant.

  it's been some time. that much is   somewhat obvious. of course, that changes   nothing between he and his sister, & he shall   glance to her with something close to a hardened   eye. but dantalion knows him better than that. the   eye only softens for her; and it does.

characters that go through hell yet still believe in the goodness of humanity, still hope for the best despite everything, refuse to let darkness consume them because someone somewhere is always going to be good are literally my favourite, because they give me that little hope too
