To celebrate 10+ years of our beloved series, why not celebrate with a bang? Well… a mini bang.
What’s a mini bang?
A mini bang is a variation of a fandom big bang, in which artists and writers collaborate. Big bangs usually require writers to write longer works (i.e. 15k+). Mini bangs require a lower word count (i.e. 3k+), hence the “mini.”

Hi, do you know any other Big Bang kind of things going on right now?
Hi there!
I know there have been behind-the-scenes plans for other Big Bangs/Fembangs/Reverse Bangs but it seems most of the people who had lead the previous BB, and the people who were planning the Fembang have had their busy schedules take over, as most, if not all, are in college. I’m definitely one of them.
If you’re up for the challenge I can get in contact with Admin Lilly who spearheaded this Big Bang, and we can help you get started on setting up another Big Bang. There’s no reason other people can’t start up their own Big Bang if they have more time and freedom to do so. uVu Or you can rally other folks willing to make the commitment and just go along for the ride. If it ends up that there aren’t many people out there available to start another Big Bang you can always just do a self-prescribed Big Bang and find someone willing to work with you through writing a big fic yourself.
As of right now though, everyone I know seems to be really busy with other real life commitments, including myself.

As you lovelies probably know, my bff manuvstheworld wrote an awesome fic for the PJO Big Bang last summer. It’s called The Luck of Olympus. Oddly enough, when I stated reading The Blood of Olympus I found some parallels. XD Myths, characters, places, situations they both used, even some lines that were very similar. So here you go, have them in a convenient diagram explaining similarities and differences! Disclaimer: I’m definitely not saying Rick stole Manu’s ideas, of course, but it’s not the first time that some of Manu’s ideas for fics in different fandoms actually appear later in canon, which I think is a testament of what a talented an inventive little guy he is. :3

Some house keeping:
An archive of the works published this year will be made for you to browse through by the end of September as well as some statistics about participation this year for anyone that likes to compare numbers like our Admin Lilly.
The reverse bang is being moved to October through to December as Blood of Olympus will be released early October and we'll all probably be sobbing our eyes out or tearing the book apart in rage. And it's probably best not to bother the fandom during this hard time :)
