all work and no play || aurora + severus
Aurora was beyond tired, to the point of being bone weary. Every nerve ending in her body was on fire from long term exposure to the Cruciatus curse. When Severus offered his arm, she took it gratefully, letting him lead her to his home at Spinner’s End. She leaned on him, her legs still weak from tonight’s bought of torture.
"A drink would be brilliant, alcohol in any form would be appreciated." She sighed, sinking down on the sofa. It was going to take a long, hot bath and a load of pain potion to get over this night.
Severus nodded carefully, guiding her to the sofa so she could seat herself into a more comfortable position. They hadn't had the best of nights-- not that a torture session was one to be grateful of to begin with, but quite honestly they've had better. Bad... but better than tonight.
Wincing as he made his way towards the liquor cabinet, a limp taking him as he approached, the professor rifled through, grabbing a long sitting Ogden's bottle and two whiskey tumblers. Pouring them each a glass, he passed one to Aurora, placing the bottle on the coffee table in front of the sofa before downing his own glass in one large gulp.
It was as if Severus was a mind reader, truly, at the best of times-- and though he was in excruciating pain himself, he was already busy pulling things around from the kitchen next to the sitting area, with the intent of making a pain salve. Mainly for Aurora's benefit. "Rate the pain." he grumbled out, flicking black eyes over his shoulder to peer at her a moment before continuing his project. "It will determine how much of what I need."
