Hey tumblr, it's been a while. I'm surprised I still have a large majority of my followers. You go, people. Life is crazy. I'm going to Southwestern Michigan College in the fall. My mom died from lung cancer last Monday. Atlas is getting a major overhaul. I'm trying to sign up to do artist alleys. That's been my life. This blog is probably going to turn into my major art/art related stuff blog. I will still have a spam blog tho: @moldybass-is-a-fan so ye I'm coming back, friends.

Undyne likes cats. It's canon now
Final makeup test for Undyne! I only did makeup on the face and didn't want to mess around with actually putting pros-aide on the bald cap though, so it's unblended. Also I still have to make a better eyepatch and the fin ears. But hey! The bald cap is RD 407 and pax paint, the ponytail is recycled from an old Teto wig. The teeth are also made from scratch, out of nails and fitting pellets.
I made Undyne's ponytail and fuck, is it thick. Still waiting on my bald cap to come in the mail so I can make a proper mount for it though. Also, the eyepatch is still a work in progress. I just made the base of it so that I could see how it looked with the makeup. The blue Ben Nye makeup for the rest of her face is also still in the mail, along with the materials for the fake teeth. Gah, postage. Anyway, I just had to show it off. More WIPs to come!

I did a (fail) eye makeup test for Undyne today. I don't have fin ears or an eyepatch or fake teeth yet though shhhh use your imagination. I'll have to play around with a few things. There is a lot from this that I don't totally love but hey, it's a start!

Fun fact my boyfriend plays this game called Magic the gathering at this comic book store and I started going with him and we noticed that the other guys started saying really sexist and offensive things around me since I’m the only girl so he immediately took me home and taught me how to play so now I go there to play and beat all of them.
They spend thousands of dollars on decks to win and I picked out cards that my boyfriend already owned and made my own deck and go there and win one guy literally threw his deck in the trash and walked out of the store screaming

A political art piece for an assignment in my art class. I guess it was more of a performance piece, because you can’t tell what was underneath the flag unless you saw me painting it
I finished! The assignment was to do a piece inspired by music, and since that’s what the majority of my art is, I took the idea and ran with it. Several renditions of this have been in my head for a while, and I was happy to finally be able to use the idea. The piece was inspired by the song Universal by TwoThirds. I was going to actually color it, but I fell in love with how just the outline looked. Here is the piece flipped both ways.
