Rocky IV has scenes of press conferences and sporting events with cameras flashing from all directions. A musical sequence suddenly starts with harsh patterned stage lights, which continue through the song and through the entire ensuing scene.

There are several scenes that use handheld cameras, including an early spinning shot.
