ok so one wig dye hell later I now know that it's pretty doable but. If you are dying roots, like painting them (like I was) then the result will not be waterproof. this is both nice and horrible because at least it's easy to fix mistakes but man if it starts raining or I sweat too much then I might ruin a whole cosplay. I don't have any better options tho so it will be interesting to see if I ruin the white shirt I will wear with that wig at cons in the summer

The slip stitch (or invisible stitch) was created to hide seams and later used by surgeons.
My cousin is a surgeon and was sewing something and used that stitch and then froze and said “Wait this isn’t a person.”
