"Huh…" The child fell quiet for a while, letting the information sink in. They got to the apartment building, though, and apparently needed to go up the stairs, so he cautiously slid down Calcifer’s back and pet his head for a bit before following Masamune. "…Well, as long as they don’t have Hojo… But they can’t change the past. Not in this time." He shook his head, looking really serious. "I already told you, it’s impossible - if it wasn’t, this place would not look like that!"
Calcifer followed behind the two silvers as he listened to both his master and smaller silver argue back and forth on a topic that he had no idea on. Unlocking and opening the door to the apartment as his young master spoke up, the blade tilted his head a bit. “Hojo is dead and has been for a short while now, so you can thank Strife for that.”
Walking in as he invited the other into the seemly normal quiet apartment as he placed the keys on the counter. “And I know you told me this, since I’m sure that you’re going to try and make sure that certain events don’t happen, correct? Though I will say this…….when you do meet my past self…..just be patient with him as he won’t have any of his memories.”
"Strife?.." Silver eyebrows furrowed, their owner deep in thought until it finally clicked him and his turquoise eyes shot wide open. "Cloud Strife?" He didn't really know how to react to this - did his friend really kill off Hojo? Somehow, he felt both happy and sad at the same time, and couldn't even begin to explain why.
He entered the apartment, looking around curiously. The place wasn't anything special, but it felt much more warm and cozy than his room back at ShinRa.
"...If I meet him. I don't know where he is... where you are."
